New idea: item rework

New idea: item rework As the game has progressed throughout the years, the amount of content has duplicated and therefore the game has become harder to learn. Furthermore, this brought up the problem of balancing the game around every new champion, as they brought new playstyles with them. Following, the game becomes harder and harder to balance as new champions arrive, since Riot’s duty is to keep freshening the game. I believe that there is a way to solve this enigma. The answer would be to rework the item system in a way that the game could both freshen itself and delay the arrival of new content. This item rework would be devised in the addition of new items and a shift of items from patch to patch.

New items: The arrival of new items would be an upgrade to the game as it would keep the game new as well as easier to play. Of course, this is in comparison to adding multiple champions to the game. To append about fifteen to twenty new items in the game would greatly diversify the play style of multiple champions as well as momentarily allowing players to test new “troll” builds. Here are a few items that I believe could make the cut:

Growing heart: +700 health, +50 base health regeneration, 3100 gold • Unique Passive:+15% bonus health (same as cinderhulk) • Builds from: two Kindlegems and one Crystalline Bracer

Rightful spear: +50 AD, 2800 gold • Unique Passive (Rightful fighter): Gains 3% damage reduction from all sources, if the user has no allies nearby, grants Lone Fighter, Unique Passive (Lone fighter): Grants 6% damage reduction from all sources, this bonus is tripled if at least three enemy champions are nearby, this effect also disables Rightful Fighter • Builds from: B.F. Sword, Cloth Armor and Null-Magic Mantle

Jaurim’s Ascension: +20 AD, +500 health, + 20 armor, +25 Magic Resist, 2900 gold • Unique Passive(Structureless): This unit deals 10% additional true damage to structures • Builds from: Jaurim’s Fist, Cloth Armor, Spectre’s Cowl

Malmortius’s Gauntlet: +40 AD, +10% Critical strike Chance, +7% Movement Speed, +10% CDR, 2500 gold • Unique Passive (Target preparation): Upon hitting an enemy champion with an ability, the user’s next attack, within two seconds gains 50 range and will critically strike • Builds from: Caufield’s Warhammer, Brawler’s Gloves

Infernal Protection: +45 Armor, +60 Magic Resist, 2500 gold • Unique Passive (Killer Friend): Enemies within a 400 range of user will take +7 physical damage from auto-attacks • Builds from: Aegis of the Legion, Null-Magic Mantle, Cloth Armor

Aeons’ Lantern: +70 AP, +200 health, +10% CDR, • Unique Passive: Upon killing a unit, this unit regenerates 2 health points and 4 mana points • Unique Passive(Curse spell): Magic damage dealt to champions causes them to take 5% additional damage from all source for 1.5 seconds

Divine dirk: +45 AD, +20% CDR, 2900 gold • Unique Passive: +18 Lethality • Unique Passive(Executionner): Physical damage dealt on enemy champions inflicts them with grievous wounds for 3 seconds • Unique passive(Ingenious assassin): Physical damage dealt on shields for enemy champions gains +8 Lethality

Bring back: • item 3128 Deathfire grasp • item 3137 Dervish Blade • item 3170 Moonflair Spellblade(but with 20% tenacity, +75 AP, +20 Armor, 30 Magic Resist) • item 3084 Overlord’s Bloodmail • Sanguine Blade • item 3161 Spear of Shojin(but with 15 base damage reduction and 5% bonus AD damage reduction, at a cost of 2700 gold) • item 3172 Zephyr • Banner of Command (maybe during a preseason as a test after the item has seen a small rework) This list does not contain any new support items, as supports are already well equipped in today’s meta. It also bypasses a lot of junglers, as I am not an experienced jungler and would not want to suggest worthless ideas.

Item Shift/Rotation: The rotation of possible items to buy would be an upgrade as it would allow a smoother rotation of power in the meta. As of now, multiple champions have precise build paths that almost all players know of, which engenders the wrath of many who love to find out for themselves their favorite builds. Thus, a rotation of items would allow this behavior without any legitimate “trolling” and also decide which champions rise in power for every two-week long patch. It would promote the diversification of champion use. Therefore, the rotation would go as such: every patch, 10 final items are not part of the shift, just like the free champion rotation, however its quite the opposite. Potentially, a world’s patch could be everyone’s candy, as every possible item would be available.

Conclusion: I strongly believe that an item rework could help the game out with the diversification of playable champions and the overall balancing of such a loaded game. I apologize for my poor English expression, as English is not my maternal language. This essay uses statistics and ideas from league’s present item list, and they own the already created items in this list: https://na.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/items/

If you have any suggestions, I'd be happy to hear it. Otherwise, I'll assume you want another Ryze Rework.

growing heart would need to have the same unique passive as cinderhulk to not have stupid high amounts of health with 2 items

Malmortius's Gauntlet would be sooo incredibly busted with item 3095

What about bringing back the force of nature & leviathan items? Like your items, most of which the divine dirk, a nice counter without being overpowered; but I'd say make the rightful spear a unique passive with either the phantom dancer or deaths dance, as all three would make some champions deceptively durable when they shouldn't be.
