How is my MMR garbage if my winrate is 59%? Should i make a smurf account?

Like why is my mmr garbage teir when i win most my games? Should i just make a new account to go around my tainted elo from when i was noob?

its not because your winrate is bad that you're at that teir. Its because you might have lost a LOT of games consecutively in a row, or you are not scoring very well while you are playing. (for instance) If I play viktor midlane and go 3/2/4 I wont progress much. But if I play Kha'Zix jungle and go 14/2/5 and KEEP getting those scores, then my MMR will improve regardless of winning or losing.

And you must be lying about that girlfriend, no one who plays league of legends has one of those. (Just kidding :])

if you dont have skins and stuff on this account that you want to keep, then thats what I would do.

If you do good in placements then you'll be set, it takes some time to level up to 30 though.

Just checked out your account on op.gg. Youre playing a lot of duo games, which could contribute to the 59% win rate. Also you shouldnt really make a smurf if youre bronze because there's nothing to smurf against. If you cannot carry yourself out of bronze there is no point in making account because you'll just go back down. Make a smurf when youre a higher rank, like gold+

I can carry my way out i did last season just my low mmr threw me b5 after winning 6/10 placements so getting out isnt my issue just wondering why the mmr stays so low even though i have improved.

Every start of the season, all the Diamonds, Masters, and Challengers are moved down in rank because the highest you can place in your placements is platinum. Thus, all ranks below Diamond are likely to move down. So placements can place you lower than what your MMR truly deserves. But it shouldn't be a problem to carry yourself back up. Just don't make a new account to redo your placements. Play until you're at what you deserve and you're fine as wine :))
