Anyone feel like discussing caitlyns winrate?

Its chillin at 44-46% depending on the day. Has been ever since preseason, if not a bit before. I know a buncha people hate caitlyn but shes one of my favorite champs, and I hate feeling like a troll playing her because shes a hindrance to her team...

I can still win on her but i feel like my sniper is a pea shooter compared to the other adcs tbh...

On top of all of this post lvl 9 she basically has 2 skills. I feel like her q needs to be more impactful later on. And her ult is honestly kinda worthless except for a few extremely rare scenarios that she can ult someone who flashes out of auto range and has nobody to block...

TBH, I think everyone is somewhat content with that, Cait being at the top ladder is a hassle.

As much as I hate these crit tumbles and stuff, it beats having 5 landmines in lane.

Classic LeBlanc syndrome. The pros are so good at her that she can't be any better for soloQ, so she has to sit at a low win rate to be balanced.

I'd like a buff on her for sure.

Problem is Caitlyn can't be allowed to be decent because when she's remotely playable shes pick/ban in LCS.

She is fine it's your build and runes that's the issue. Build both duskblade and ghost blade, greaves, static shiv, last items what ever you want. Stop rushing ie ffs it's a dumb item to rush

Play Jhin, he delivers on the sniper fantasy much better than Caitlyn.

Making your shots count
using long range skillshots
and timing everything to be the most effective.
You get to use caitlyn's ult 4 times as Jhin, it's way more fun. Even if it is less reliable.

That aside, I feel your pain. It sucks when a champion you like is dominant for too long and then gets nerfed and buried. I'm not sure Caitlyn's current kit would be fair to have balanced though. There are some very negative experiences and lack of counterplay for her opponents, particularly with her traps. It's not fair for opponents to be unable to farm under their own turret because they are being forced to play hopscotch in a minefield of her traps instead.

In my opinion Riot really needs to do something to update her gameplay if she is ever going to become buffable again. Maybe a hunter / trapper turned sheriff would be a good theme to focus on, since her current gameplay fantasy is addressed and delivered on by Jhin better anyway now. Either way, the traps need to be fixed - at the very least to be less effective under turrets.

Im a silver support and i dont like playing with her, i feel like a varus or vayne has way more impact
