@ RIOT, Permabans in general

Riot should allow a permabanned player to appeal the ban after a year passes, through support. Perhaps undergo an evaluation of some kind. I understand that the things said to get to a permanent ban are usually horrific, however, a lot can change in a years time. People mature, things in their life can change

You dont know if the person that was being toxic constantly had an abusive family, got picked on in school every day, ect. Its not an excuse to be toxic, but... its just my opinion, and I stand by it.

Good day, and if any of you happen to read this, thanks for your time.

(Yes I have been permabanned before, I will be completely out in the air with my bias. I am not perfect, I still rage sometimes, however, I haven't had a single chat restriction in 5 months. The occurrences have gone down, and the severity is mostly just calling the off person every 10th game a dick for harassing me, before I promptly mute.)

You probably could have had a good point till

and there is a lot of money spent on accounts.

Right there.. Not because "riot wants you to spend more on a new account", but because you'll get downvoted hard since it seems like you just want to recover a banned account you spent money on.

Permanent Ban. PERMANENT. No take backs. Ever. The only exception is a false ban, and that rarely happens. People can change, yes- but you cannot run from consequences. If a person is being abused, they shouldn't be taking it out on others. You have the power to type whatever you want and press ENTER. You also have the power to not do that.

I remember that Riot tried a system a few years back that gave permabanned players a shot at getting their account back. It was called the 'level 20 challenge'. Basically, if a toxic player could level an account up to 20 without hitting the tribunal even once, they were supposed to get their permabanned account back. Supposedly the amount of players that reformed out of the ones that were picked was roughly 5%. It seems highly unlikely that they would attempt a similar program when the results the first time around were so miserable. Unless they feel like chancing it again, your permanent ban is exactly as it reads; permanent.

If you want to do some more research on this past system of theirs, I'd recommend doing a search for 'Level 20 Challenge'. You can also take a look at this link and skip down to number 33. http://www.reignofgaming.net/redtracker/topic/75596-tribunal-faq-updated-18-06

Then that's not what "perma-" means at all.

i think this is a funny idea. i mean imagine this: the typical guy who wishes everyone cancer and thinks he is allowed to because yea he is such a good player and his mates are so bad. so he gets his account banned for 1 year and is waiting this whole year to play again. so the year is over he is totally hyped! he plays 2 games spamms cancer again and gets his account permabanned. imagine how mad he must be hilarious :D

Eh, it could work, and I like your idea of returned permaban accounts starting at the highest toxicity rank.

The problem with all these posts, is while people may come out with good ideas that could legitimately work, I honestly don't really think Riot pays attentions,or really cares. They hire professionals to set up this system, and while I like Riot, and I am thankful to them for this awesome game. They don't seem like the company to throw out their plan for some random post on the forums, if such a company even exists.

You can do that already... by CREATING ANOTHER ACCOUNT. It's also free.

Yes I have been permabanned before...

Well of course you are. Only people like you would create such a retarded thread.

I just fail to see the reason behind this lol. In a years time, I could have another account to 30, unlocked all the champs, runes, rune pages and even probably acquired a few skins.

Am I missing something?

Well, I commend you for turning yourself around.

What I don't understand (this doesn't have much to do with your specific request but it kind of relates) why Riot is inconsistent with permabans. Jensen or Incarnati0n had a history of DDOS attacks in League. All of his accounts were supposed to be closed on sight (http://forums.euw.leagueoflegends.com/board/showthread.php?t=1122163 ) Then suddenly 2 years later he's in the LCS? I mean if you're going to make a permaban account ruling like that, stick to it. Just because they are at the top of the latter doesn't mean they should get special treatment.

Sorry this doesn't directly relate to your request, but I just wanted to get it out there.

Yeah, They havent attempted it in a long time, and Im adding a lieu that they only allow people that have been banned for atleast 6 months, maby even a year, to get the chance. I know its permanent, I just wanna get some communication on a rioters side on the idea.

I agree with you man;)..Riot says, the comunity doesn;t want you back..which means, that the comunity should have the power to bring you back;)
