Overnight.

Twitch winrate 53.8 ---> 51.3% Trist winrate 51.1% ---> 49.5% Xayah winrate 50.7% ----> 49.2%

Correlation? item 3504 item 3504 item 3504

Adcs were never op, people are just blinded by the flashy mechanics.

Downvote into oblivion. The truth hurts.

That or supports forgot how to actually build now that they can't rush item 3504

Like headless chickens.

I mean... Marksmen always hover around 50% winrate-ish because the only champions they'll ever fight is other marksmen.

Salron10/26/2017, 12:05:07 AM16 votes

Twitch is still a notable outlier here

Ardent was OP but i would still say that Static+RFC+IE combo is too good as well, at least when it comes to murdering squishies.

It's positively mediocre against strong tanks but that doesn't make it alright to 2 shot enemy carries just by virtue of building XYW items to gain range and burst.

as a support main, i hate item metas, and i already knew it was ardent that was the issue

And where is your source? Lolalyitcs shows that trist winrate for example has risen 0,5%. Twitch indeed dropped a bit. Xayahs winrate was below 50% on a few sites the whole time.

  1. Op.gg and other stat sites don't post flash win rates, and nor are any champ's daily values based on instantaneous feedback. They usually use the last 7 days.

There are many other variables which are playing just as a relevant effect on loss rates :

-End of Season rushers/desperation/smurfs who are trolling lower elos more frequently.

-Galio being released but NOT retracted or disabled, with a skill that can 1 hit a 2400 hp champ who actually has 200 Mag resist..... without even having a Void Staff. (I actually built a 200 mag resist Miss fortune to 2400 hp and ONE TIME Galio caught me in his Q, and erased me in 1 sec).

  1. For what it's worth, I knew support pre Censer. I've actually never cared about rushing it, because it puts supports behind about 1200g. Yet, I've won a lot as support.

What actually feels like it's changed:

Adc's don't know how to carry without a Censer, and make far more mistakes vs champs that are overtuned like Draven or Jhin or Kalista, leaving the support to suffer along with them. When an adc fails, the support is going to usually be behind 2-3k in gold from where they should be as collateral damage from not having an adc.

There's also far more troll support picks happening. Veigar support is on the rise. I've seen actual Ahri supports in ranked, Ryze supports, More brand supports. Galio spam. Ezreal supports.

Less people are actually using supports and more are using carries.

At the same time, Sona, and other supports that were nerfed because of Censer being part of their kit, have not been adjusted, and still are doing far lower damage than they used to.

For example, I used to do about 24k damage with Sona and 18-19k damage with a Nami in a ranked game. Now, I'm lucky to hit 10k, because 1) I have to go coin to be competitive, reducing damage/AP, and 2) Their heal base got nerfed along with damage base to accommodate Censer changes.

Furthermore, Adcs and supports just can't keep up with Duskblade anymore without Censer. Too many stealth champs have multi proc on it, and the ward detection is OP. It dismantles a support's secondary purpose, feeds the stealth champ free gold,

Btw; Leona's Baseline and Blitz's Q and ult were all buffed during the Censer meta. Now, they are still strong, whlle other champs get punished for getting pulled once in 12 pulls enough to make it like the 11 misses never happened.

One day, need to see the trend overall. Also was ardent that powerful of an item? I dominated games with those champs(except Xayah never rlly played her) without an ardent support.

I'm curious as to where you got your stats.

invisiblecat110/27/2017, 2:27:41 AM3 votes

Twitch is still a little strong, he was even before Ardent meta, but tristana jumped right back, and soon, after all the FotM people realize this, her popularity will jump back too

Yaoi Tarded10/27/2017, 3:06:59 AM2 votes

I don't know about mechanics but I did see a lot of people standing still getting piled on with an adent up their ass.

I keep banning brainless enchanters so it doesn't affect me as much anyway.

Sad that as a support main, I never actually thought of ardent as OP, I never took my time to think about the morality of buying it because of everyone treating it like it was a normal thing for an item to be that strong. Boards did something good when they spoke out about ardent, they really did.
