Theorycrafting a build for the new Akali
Alright, some of these ideas are probably stupid.
Because of how the beta is, your only options are draft, customs, or AI.
I don't want to compete for roles and I don't have enough friends with beta, so I have to play bot games.
I did test this a bit, but I wasn't exactly testing it in a fair environment.
Alright.
An AD Akali build that focuses on jabbing them to death by abusing the new draktharr and a triforce in conjunction with your W.
Take an AD/attack speed rune page.
Run 21/9/0 masteries with fervor (or thunderlords if you want. I won't get mad)
Max E>W>Q, taking an extra point in W early.
Alright, I'll explain myself before my stupidity looks completely unfounded (you fools, it is only 87% unfounded!)
The duskblade we get for two reasons. First, your passive heal scales quite well with AD. Second (and more importantly), the passive will give you a good bit of on hit damage every time you dip into and out of stealth.
The triforce is also grabbed for two reasons. This lets you get a lot of spellblade damage from weaving autos. Additionally, the attack speed is great, since you need to get two autos off in order to get the bonus damage from your passive.
The gunblade is self explanitory. Just make sure you get the revolver early, since that thing is just awesome.
Swifties are placeholder boots. Get whatever you need that game; tabi, mercs, sorcs, greaves, w/e.
Hourglass is a great active for Akali, since it lets you wait out the time between your shrouds.
Abyssal Scepter is really good for you; it now amplifies all magic damage in an area around you by 10%. Not only does this amplify much of your damage, since you are spending a good bit of time in your shroud near enemies, you can amp the damage of any AP allies you may have.
Oh, and that also caps your CDR. You now have 4 seconds of downtime on your shroud (1.5 seconds of vulnerability, considering your hourglass). Your ult is no longer effected by CDR, which sucks, but fuck it.
It's not like this build is any good anyhow. If it somehow doesn't suck, I don't even know anymore, man.
now that's what I call a good akali build for season 7
