Idea for Veigar Q, compromise

This isn't berating anyone at Riot for the upcoming Veigar changes. I for one like them, but that's not the point of this discussion.

I had an idea and was wondering how many iterations did the update to the skill go through in internal testing? Then I thought, what about a compromise since no one seems to enjoy the new skillshot Q: Make is act like Caitlyn's ultimate. What I mean is, it's still targeted (live) but it can be intercepted (new). The conterplay is stand behind your minions or make the front liners tank the initial Veigar Q's, since he shouldn't be able to target you in a team fight anyway without the setup from the stun. Veigar can still dish out plenty of damage, his harass and farming stays pretty decent.

I'm not talking numbers change, just functionality.
