Why Always Paired with Negative WInrate Teammates After Promo

Why are we always paired up with teammates who are negative winrates right after winning promos? What is going into the equation? Is it literally trying to force us to lose so we "play more."

If we just promoted, our MMR for our tier (hah like those matter) are lower than they were previously. Ex my MMR is high-average for Bronze 2 but after promo my MMR should be low-average for Bronze 1. So why are we forced to carry an impossible to carry game?

I have nothing against people who have a negative winrate itself. But basically every time after promo you get 4 teammates who are negative. Those guys also, don't you think Riot should give them some wins and not stack the game against them to keep them negative.

The answer is in the question. After promos, you're at the bottom of the group. The worst of that group and the recently improved. Makes perfect sense.

Makes no sense if the opponent has 5players WR > 50% vs my team with just 1. But if both teams are equally poorly stacked then I could agree to it, outside of the fact that most of my team was B3 but I was on at an off hour.

I will try the next game and report back to see if both sides are under 50% WR.

But I just want to say, it makes just as much sense Imogen to start a newly d promoted in the middle of thetier. And let him sink or swim from there instead of forcing a constant swim.

Your MMR may have been considered average for the tier you were just in, but at the same time it may be considered low/lower than the average of your new tier so they place you with other players whom have lower MMR than their current tier (negative winrate people)

I recognize that.

But when you are winning a lot, you are placed with lower MMR people to "average" out MMR between teams as well. If you are on the low WR team, that is fine. I will need to confirm but if the other team has 5 50%WR then it is a problem.
