Champions before their reworks

I'm just gonna list off a whole buncha champs, and their playstyles (or something bs about their former kit)before their reworks, mainly for the sake of nostalgia (Note: I won't include certain champs, like garen or MF, as these champs just got tons of buffs, to the point where there really isnt a single thing the old version did better than the new one)

Sion: AP burst assassin. Fiora: Assassin/Fighter Poppy: 1V5 AD assassin Ashe: Honestly, kinda the same. Shaco: Either an AP meme assassin, or an AD meme assassin. Warwick: Hawooo grarkjbwgqhebumyjgbkjeqgwfn Urgot: Uh... Erm... Galio: Ap burst mage Swain: Battle....Mage? He awkwardly just waddled about and it worked out. Irelia: Bruiser Darius: I won't say fighter. He may have technically been a fighter, but lord, he was in a class of his own. Had no sustain/tankiness, no mobility, but could 100 to 0 you in 2 seconds. What class would you catagorize this in? Morde: AP assassin (kinda? Maybe a heavy burst battle mage is more accurate). Sej: You played her for her ult, thats it. Zac: Either a really good initiator, or an AP assassin. Maokai: "and YOU get tank stats, and YOU get tank stats!" Cass: Could buy boots. Was wack. Aatrox: A fighter, and a fighter with a really nice niche of players. It was a shame when that playerbase was destroyed with his rework. Akali: Less sustain/cc, wayyyyyy more burst. Kayle: Clicky. Congrats, you killed em. Tristana: Clicky. Congrats, you killed em. Ryze: Clicky. Congrats, you killed em. Eve: either the most pathetic excuse for an assassin, or something to be feared the entire game.

That's all I could think of off the top of my head. I know I missed a bit, who did I miss?

Glad I'm not alone in this. Old Fiora was so much fun.

I really prefer old Fiora. Really a shame considering her kit wasn't that bad and she had an iconic ultimate.

Just gonna respond about Sion. There are several things that make a champion an assassin. First and foremost being the ability to burst down an enemy. Which he didn't have until 3 items in and then lost once everyone else had 4. But just as important is mobility, which he completely lacked.

He was not an assassin. You could stretch really hard and call him a burst mage, but even then he only had two AP scaling abilities.

Same with Mord. Having no range or mobility doesn't suddenly make a burst champion an assassin. It just means they're a really, really bad mage.

The lack of mobility was honestly the main reason I was hesitant to label them as assassins. They were like AP versions of former Darius: no mobility, no sustain, stupid high damage. What would one even label champs who fall in this catagory? Turrets?

Well, Sion anyway. Mord was just not properly done since AP items are oriented around a completely different style of champion and they still have yet to understand that in order for him to be a juggernaut, he needs to be able to buy the items they created specifically for the class.

I almost never played Galio as an AP Burst Mage pre rework.

Only when the stars aligned just right but that was far and few between.

Also where is the judgment of Shen

Shen: Are you in lane? If so, press Q. Is an ally low? If so, press R. Are there grouped up enemies? You go for the taunt followed by shield. Even if its a 1v4 situation.
