Nunu doesn't do anything late game. In fact there's this joke that goes "What does nunu do late game?"

He's honestly worst than ww and urgot before the rework, and please don't give me that "but ww and urgot were too op before the rework".
This cant be reposted enough, when i found out ppl like ww and then xin and eve and aatrox were getting reworked before nunu i was really mad, hes easily on par with urgot or galio pre reworks. The only reason people do well with him is because they have an almost do nothing build thats usually just a tanky slowbot who relies on his team to win the match while he contributes relatively little to the match but gets credited for a lot more because hes able to get assists from unimportant slows and eat jungle camps all day. His entire playstyle is unintended consequences of leaving a champion sit for so long, he was supposed to be a relatively squishy fighter who could also build into an even squishier support, his current playstyle is more passive than prerework soraka and simply ineffective without either snowballing (unlikely but as is on any other champ) or being carried.
ways to fix him: hard cc mobility make his ult less easily dodged/interupted
ive completed proposed builds with ability stats for potential reworks but those are the gist. Every current kit needs hard cc and or mobility to be viable, especially on melee champs.

I like Nunu so much, but he is really Feast or Famine imo.
either my opponent jungler is so bad that I just get to ruin his game. Or he has decent sense and I just become a slow objective eater. Even worse if the enemy jungle is good and my team can't support me lol.
I am not saying I am the best Nunu ever. There are plenty of great high ranked one tricks compared to my silver generalist skill level. But just that when I play Nunu I enjoy him, but wish he could actually do something.
In trade for his ridiculous early game control and Mid Game pressure? I think that's fair.
EDIT: Actually I take it back. Solo Q Nunu appears to get stronger the longer the game goes, save for a tiny dip in the super late game.

I think he needs a rework to modernize him. He's just lacking in tools to actually be a threat in team fights. He's arguable the best control jungler in the game, but that play style isn't conducive to winning games if your team can't bring the fight into the jungle where you are king.
