An idea for a small change in Thresh's Kit:

Allow both enemies and allies to pull the Lantern. item 3159

What!?

Thresh throws the lantern to Caitlyn , Alistar grabs it instead. Shit's gonna get real.

I suppose you could also allow Thresh to yank his own lantern back, to keep it from falling into enemies hands. Sorry Lucian, you're not getting her back today.

This could be it. The way to balance him out after all this time. Thresh has little counterplay....honestly. But because the LCS is head-over-heels for him, he has scarcely been touched. He has amazing initiation potential, high utility, poke, peel, and gets pretty tanky. To balance him out give the boy two options:

  1. This

  2. Remove his ranged attack from his kit.

Seriously I just don't think its fair that he has all the zoning potential already with the hook, but has ranged attack to poke (which isnt fair to blitz). With the removal of his ranged autos, at least he would have some more counterplay. I main Janna and have seen his passiv aa break through my shield and some. It is ridiculous! Bottom lanes could go for poke or sustain comps with better success. Just my two cents.

I just don't see Riot changing a champion's kit to the level of removing ranged autoattacks altogether.

Honestly, they should just apply this Lantern fix, and then work on increasing other supports utility.

Yeah it seems more likely..... Or they should make it so that silences, knockups, and knockbacks ON THRESH will remove the lantern.

I want option 3 and 4 :(

So instead of just downvoting the thread and voting Hate it, how about you elaborate, faceless naysayers?

Personally what if they made it so, a champ would only be dragged back, by his hook, if they were below a percentage of health. This would allow healers to counter him better.
