People will spend $ if they think its worth the $, folks who don't still get an opportunity for some free stuff. This has been Riots business model from the get go so I don't really see any issue with this.

Ah, well typically using the phrase "fall for" is used negatively, so I incorrectly assumed that you felt this event was a outlier from how riot usually generates their income and that you where implying it to be kind of scammy. I like this format more then the years of holiday skins that always require you to spend RP for icons and skins. I'd be happier if the Riv and Yas skins could be unlocked for free during the event but I also get that riots not running a non profit, and will be cashing out on as many free tokens I can earn for Orbs of order lol. (reroll any thing I don't care about for free RNG skins, and hopefully get a few gems or that annie skin lol... not banking on it thou, mostly just grinding permanent rerolls or keeping shards I like.)

them orb were worth the money imo, the shit i've seen drop from them and the 4 i got with left over cash after buying all the icons was quality™

worth it if you have the spare cash, other wise just pass on the orbs and get the skins imo

(i ended up getting the hextech ward lmao)

Shoot im not gonna spend money but after tomorrow I'll have gotten the 140 chaos tokens to get the orb, so I'm ok with the event. Don't be such an ass, riot is a company so they wanna make money of course theyre gonna have promotional events and stuff, and why do you care if someone else spends $ on it?

I'm assuming english isn't your first language because you're on EUNE servers.

1)Your post comes across super negatively. In the US at least, "fall for" has a very negative connotation. It comes off as saying "I can't believe you fell for that scam!"

You don't really give any details or context on what you're asking. This comment I'm responding to gave me much more information than your title and original post combined, so people downvote because together with the wording it looks like you made a low effort stab at Riot.
