To Everyone Complaining About the Missions

...you don't have to do them. Riot doesn't have to give them to you. They don't have to put time and effort into these events. If I had to guess, I'd say Riot is doing okay financially. These missions and events are 100% optional - free - bonus material - yet, we're so ungrateful and critical. Of course they're going to take special care of people who pay them more money..wouldn't you? C'mon, this is pure business and those of you without jobs just have to suck it up and enjoy your plethora of free shit (I feel so sorry for you).

I understand giving constructive criticism, but at some point we have to realize that we can simply enjoy what we've been given even if it's not amazing or super inventive or makes everyone happy..sometimes, we can just play the game. I understand being vocal is good, but there is such a thing as overstating. Also, these missions are supposed to be very hard to complete. Riot isn't trying to give everything away like some charity.

One last thing - why are we not as vocal about the good things Riot does as much as the bad?** Giving positive reinforcement is just as important as constructive criticism.** 90% of what we do is complain. 5% are neutral topics. 3% is constructive criticism. And the other 2% is positive reinforcement. Just go check out the trending topics for yourself - the math is spot on.

P.S. Comparing 1 mission to a featured game mode is ridiculous.

Kind of pointless to make the mission super complicated and difficult to achieve...only for a measly pittance for all that effort.

Might as well not add it in at all, save the staff's time, and give them something better to do like fixing bugs in their client or making another Annie skin.

1 these missions aren't hard just plain retarded.... 2 why is there a time limit to them? 3 sometimes these events are made impossible 4 they aren't always targeted towards you as a player but as premade team of 5 -.- 5 the rewards aren't worth doing the missions 6 people that pay get the rewards what point does the event have? 7 no one is treated as equal with events/missions.

if anything they are always sale promotions to sell new skins -.- its kinda stupid to even call them events or missions like riot does.... they aren't giving away free stuff, they are trying to make you buy skins.

The missions during this event are the best Riot has made since starting missions. I have noticed so much more objective control and team play. My only complaint is the melee mission. It gives people the need to troll... a team comp has difficulty scaling without a marksman and there are very few melee mages. I've easily won games because of enemy teams "trolling" playing a full melee comp because Riot says they need to.

"You dont have to do them" is not an answer to bad design. It will impact people who choose not to do the missions just the same.

In an Ask Riot when missions were introduced they said:

"It’s important to us that missions don’t negatively impact your games. This means missions can’t encourage players to play to lose or to play in sub-optimal ways." "MISSIONS CHALLENGE YOUR SKILL, NOT YOUR PATIENCE."

My only complaint previously was that multiple missions were not able to be completed while playing support.
