"Negative Attitude"

When you think about it, how do you know what is considered negative?

Riot told us themselves regarding the Nunu player that he got banned because so many people from the community deemed the strategy negative. This is weird, because this means we have the power regarding this kind of negativity.

For example, if I believe attempting to surrendering a game is negative i can report that person for negative attitude. I believe that if someone starts a surrender vote it has a negative effect on the game. Same goes for people saying "Autofilled" in champion select. I believe both of those have a negative impact on the game. Does that mean I can report for it?

Obviously I don't report for either of these, but it makes you think doesn't it? The fact that if enough of us thinks something is negative, we can get players banned that way.

Every single person that says gg or ff20 after dying once or losing a tower is a perfect example of common negative behavior. The ones I report for though, are those who are being genuinely toxic. Though toxicity comes in many forms, and simply depends on the person being effected by it. Is this offensive to you? Do you believe this person is behaving in a negative/toxic manner? Then you report. Emotional triggers are a decent way to measure up how much of a problem a player is, if nothing else, as well.

Though there are some abnormal cases. I unfortunately had to report a player for toxic behavior, despite his unusual commentary. He'd mask his words with unusual optimism, but at the same time, would interrupt and attempt to verbally shut down anyone that spoke up, regardless of the context or circumstance. He was attempting to control the chat of any player that didn't mute him, before finally blaming everyone on his team for the loss. He personally didn't bother me to such a degree that the decision to report him felt unanimous, but it was still obvious that he was intentionally harassing players with his behavior, and showed no obvious intent on relenting.

At the end of the game I report everyone on my team for negative attitude if we lost, unless there were some people being friendly. I also report all the enemy players. I consider their attitudes negative.

The nunu verdict was stupid and just shows how Riot has changed. This was one of the few times they stepped forward to take action back in the old days, and I believe it was only a 2 day ban despite being infinitely more severe ______________________________________________- Poll: What was the best season in League of Legends?
