The problem is that people still play like it's season 5, or at least, a large portion of players still do, they haven't seemed to realise that this current meta is extremely penalizing. Game is snowballier than ever due to gold income increase and more penalizing than ever thanks to elongated death timers and paper turrets.
That's why almost feel like surrendering every time a teammate gives away first blood before I have even cleared my second jungle camp or around the third minute mark, which happens surprisingly often, just as often as it did before these changes.
Because if they are so careless from the get go, odds are they are going to feed the rest of the game. I generally just ignore it and try to do my best, by 10th minute we'll be once we're probably behind by like 15 to 5. At that point I'm not even playing to win any longer, I'll just run around looking for easy kills and doing my best to avoid dying trying to farm my kdr and avoid getting farmed by the opposing team.
Imo this is what has made s6 so boring, after 10 minutes the games are generally more or less cast in stone. Even matches are even rarer than they used to be.
Mistakes are extremely unforgiving. Losses are miserable, wins are inevitable and thus not very exciting.
I know Riot is trying to attract a new crowd by increasing the pace of the game, but what surprises me is that they haven't seemed to considered the increase in difficulty a factor that will actually drive new blood away from the game, that and the fact that so many of us old timers are straight up pissed off at the current state of the game we don't advertise for it positively.
Personaly, when my friends ask me about what games I play I let them know that I play LoL almost exclusively. But I also advice them not to get into the game at all, which takes little persuasion since none are genuinley interested.
