when he uses q - run because you lost a lot of ad and he outdamages you

when he ults you - run because you cant do anything vs that as a melee laner when he literally takes your armor and gains it while doing damage and healing.

when he pillars you - run because he has the advantage over you and you might be getting ganked

so how exactly does a melee laner win lane vs trundle? not even win lane, how does one not get demolished by a point and click champion?

Trundle is a pure melee champion with almost complete basic attack dependency, no hard crowd control or tactical mobility outside of his Frozen Domain, and his menace is based heavily off his ability to regenerate like crazy and steal your stats. If you have range over him, whittle him down with melee. If you have mobility, engage in brief hit and run tactics, and overall,** DON'T TRY TO SOLO A FUCKING DUELIST!!!**

Malphite top with 1 mana regen item. The I steal your move speed poke is great. And passive malph wave clear is pretty good. Plus malph brings a lot to late game as well.

Never really had much problem laning against Trundles, I mean yeah they often become strong mid-late game if I don't utterly destroy them (which happens decently often), but the laning phase itself has never really been much of a problem....

I mean he's horribly telegraphed, so if you're paying attention to his movements he'll likely have to use his W or E in order to get onto you so he'll end up blowing all his mana just gap closing, and that's just so he can Q and AA you, which shouldn't be all that bad early game if you're not letting him do it to you constantly lol
