What role is most able to hard carry bad teammates?

I usually just pick fill since I enjoy playing all the roles, but nearly every time I get support I just straight up lose since there's only so much I can do, and any time I pick ADC I lose despite destroying my lane and roaming around and helping other lanes.

So what roles / champs can just say fuck it and end a game without a team backing them up?

Top lane duelist/split pusher. Legit just keep running it down taking towers and killing enemies and eventually you just take their base

This is the answer for bronze and most of silver. Splitpush is never answered very well.

In bronze you can just push constantly and probably outduel 1v2. In silver, you have to be smarter and know when to back off. Your team probably won't be making another objective push, so they can just collapse you. BUT if you play well or your team pushes another lane with you, you will win the game.

ADC is only good for carrying if you play a hypercarry and somehow get to lategame. It is too reliant on getting big items to be effective if someone feeds early.

Mid idk. In theory mid should be good. But you can only push midlane out so far. And your roams won't be effective if your team isn't good. Assassin mids who get ahead can easily carry games, but you would need to be really good at said assassin.

You can carry with Support. It is my goal to try and hit Diamond with support only. Good support players will make bad ADC look good...but yeah it still depends.

Support really needs to be proactive. Most people forget that you are not just supporting your ADC, you are supporting the team.

maybe not answering your question but those are my two cents on support :D

At some point it doesn't work though. You can do it, but your climb will be slower than a lane carry. There is a Nami one trick on the boards in high diamonds, etc. But it is slower.

I had several "recent" games. I would get my ADC 3-0 in lane. No turrets down, still laning phase. For some reason I roam/our backs are desynched and they go in 1v2 and die... multiple times. And sure you can still come back from it, but you can get a bad ADC kills but you can't make them good. Those same ADCs later apply 0 damage in teamfights.

A durable, initiating bruiser who is capable of exerting lane pressure. Bonus points if you can also jungle them for increased map presence.

When fed, Gnar, Cho'Gath, Hecarim, Jarvan IV, Kled, Malphite, Riven, Renekton, Vi, Volibear, Warwick, Wukong, Xin Zhao can dish out surprising damage, initiate and control fights, zone enemies from engaging, split-push, tank/take towers, and generally becomes a durable menace that can buy your team time to get back into the game.

They may not have the raw kill-everything power of Tryndamere/Yi/Yasuo, but their versatility and ability to make up for most issues your team can have makes them invaluable anchor points for a team.

Second options are tanks that make fights easy for your allies (Sejuani/Amumu being the top two for AoE CC that's easy to clean up after) and split-pushers who REQUIRE attention (Tryndamere is probably top of the pack there, since he can and will solo towers all day if you ignore him). Note that the split-pushing strategy becomes worse and worse the more coordinated your enemy team is, and the anchor strategy becomes better and better the more your team is (as then "bad teammate" usually means "decent teammate who is having a bad day and needs an anchor to get back into the game.").

As far as durable bruisers go... I enjoy these guys:

Camille Darius Galio Garen Gnar Illaoi Nasus Renekton Warwick Urgot Yorick Poppy RekSai Vi

Do they work?

And then, for tanks:

Nautilus Ornn Maokai Sion TahmKench Volibear

And... no. I mean people who couldn't play the game to save their lives. : /

Of these, the best solo carries are probably Darius, Galio, Gnar, Urgot, and Warwick. Garen, Illaoi, Renekton, Rek'Sai, and Vi are also solid.

Nautilus Ornn Maokai Sion TahmKench Volibear

Nautilus, Sion, and Maokai are good anchors, but only Volibear really has the brute force to throw around here.

And... no. I mean people who couldn't play the game to save their lives. :/

Due to how the MMR system works, most of the people you play with are about your skill level -- chances are they're trying something new, distracted, or just having a bad day.

Answer: Don`t carry them. If they bad then you should rage quit or run down mid period.

Actually you should play champions with hard scaling like Kog Maw, Tristana, Vayne, Yasuo, Vladimir, Cassiopeia, etc.

Top- solo carry 1v9 Mid or jungle - if at least one person is good so you can snowball them Adc or support - you need to trust your lane partner (duo)
