Can everyone stop exaggerating the potential of kiting?

I still keep hearing how Udyr can never catch up to a Kalista which is absolute bull.

Yea, you can evade him for 4 seconds in which you better hope you can escape, kill him, or have a team mate to help you because at the end of that 3 seconds he's going to eventually be in melee range to beat the living crap out of you.

I get that mobility creep is a problem, but please stop making it sound like certain champs are uncatchable.

Kalista can potentially kite forever, but in a real game this is not going to happen.

Lee Sin kicks you across the screen, ward jumps through a wall, Qs to a jungle camp through another wall, and his safeguard is back up before you've even gotten passed his first wall jump.

Sure, if there is a stunlock somewhere along his escape route hes done, but that's unreasonable to assume in most situations where he is making an intelligent escape route based off ward coverage.

"Kiting" on the other hand, there are a number of champions that once they gain enough damage they can kite other champions to death. Kalista can pop rend to slow you and Q+aa for a double jump to regain max range.

Kiting is a 1v1 dilemma that a melee should plan out. Even if Udyr jumps Vayne with a stun, she can probably manuever to condemn him or ult Q through a wall and then condemn him into the wall if he flashes.

To argue that you can't be kited to death in obvious situations is kinda stupid. Many factors have to be included, but expecting to stick to a mobile champ as a champ that runs and auto attacks is far fetched.

In a real game it can happen if you have someone to protect you like a Nautilus, but likewise the udyr can use superior pathing.

And then you have a support slow you down and resetting your gap closing.

I agree with you all the way they act like its impossible to catch some champs.
