Dunkey Fanboys

I've been a dunkey fan for a long time now and even though I do agree on most of his secondary points in his video, I completely disagree with his main point: if you flame, you deserve punishment. Yes, that Malphite is an idiot and deserves a long ban, but wishing anyone death over a FUCKING VIDEO GAME is ban worthy. I always had a sour taste in my mouth when I saw dunkey flaming players in his videos, but let it slide because I'm not aware of the context. But if he seriously thinks telling a stranger (which he never met and probably will never meet again) that he hopes he will be gunned down then I don't know, it's just a toxic nature.

TL;DR What I do agree on with dunkey:

1. Riot is way too slow when it comes to dealing with toxic players (kind of ironic because he got banned)
2. Riot doesn't provide enough support to the people who promoted their game for years (they actually did make the Content Lab but that's not enough).
3. Riot is an incompetent company that many times takes the wrong approach when it comes to maintaining its only game.

What I disagree on with dunkey:

1. Flaming (it's not trashtalking) is not a part of the game

I've never heard of this Dunkey guy before the video and I have to say, I agree with the first 5 mins of the video 100%. I didn't even watch the rest of it, but it's sad that malph can intentionally feed and not be punished, yet pointing out the truth that he is a fukhead can be.

I have not really looked into this matter, but from what I can tell, Dunkey did something wrong and most people's excuse is "but other people were doing bad stuff too". Of course, this does not excuse punishable behavior. You don't get arrested for stealing and use the excuse that other people were stealing too. It does not work that way.

Of course, I need to watch the YouTube videos to get more background context, but I can just tell from these new Boards that he probably deserved whatever ban he received.

If I were to describe how dunkey feels its like this. A guy in class throws a pencil at the back of your neck every day. Nothing too bad nothing too good either right? Then eventually one day you get sick of it and tell that bitch to die. And its just like that. I agree dunkey shouldn't have gone that far as to say you should die. But everyone has a point where they just have to let it go and personally I don't think someone who has helped riot a lot should get banned for letting off steam. The most he should get is a chat restriction. O well not everyone will agree.

I find it funny how Riot implements a button to stop toxicity but no one uses it and toxic players are the most banned yet you can't block a troller and they barely get banned. The excuse of "Well you can prove through chat logs that he was toxic but u cant prove a troller" Uhh yes you can. In the video when he dies to Darius you can see the chat log and malphite basically says "I called support bard is dyslexic gave my team ample time to dodge (He wanted someone else to lose LP instead of himself cause he was being a dickhead) they didnt dodge so im feeding, enjoy free win." The chat logs clearly show that this guy had trolling intentions. Also if a guy has 9 deaths pre 15 mins and isnt farming, getting assists, or kills im pretty sure its clear the guy is trolling.

Now im not saying dunkey is right, he is very wrong and he was toxic but there are a few things we need to address.

1. Riot needs to stop babying their customers, in the real world are you going to go to the police cause someone called you a fucktard? No. Im talking about minor toxicity, dunkeys level was beyond bad but if someone says "You are retarded" they shouldn't be banned, sorry but they just shouldn't.

2. Riot needs to fix their report system drastically. There is a reason over 80% of bans are toxic bans, its because riot doesn't ban anyone else cause they don't focus on any other type of report besides toxicity.

Thats just my 2 cents.

You can mute idiots with a big mouth, you can't mute feeders and afkers. I don't agree with how harsh dunkey was but this kind of stuff happens prob 1 out of 3 games maybe higher. About every 3 games you will have someone not get their role and be a big baby about it and suck on purpose or feed or go like 0-3 then afk. It's really hard not to turn toxic yourself if you play this game long enough because the people actually trying hard are being held back hard by people that just don't care. Every since i started ranked on League I never understood how so many trolls could be in ranked, couldn't understand why they are even in ranked if they just trolling. But the moral of this comment is, dunkey showed everyone really what is wrong with the game 50% of the time you are either being verbally assualted and told to go kill yourself(mute button is great) by 1 or more people or you have a afk or someone mad that didn't get role and they feed.

I love League thou and I'm going to keep working hard to try get out of silver.

You must not go on the boards much??? A lot. I mean a LOT of people have voiced their distaste in general with this game in the past few months. "I'm quitting league". Threads like that are popping up increasingly often. The attitude of being fed up with League is a common one nowadays, so he's obviously going to have supporters, regardless of whether they agree with his actual point or not. Hell, regardless if they're even fans or not.
