I'm actually glad that there isn't a Tribunal anymore

Jk. But in all seriousness, I was chat banned for 8 games back in March. I know this was a long time ago but it's still relevant since there isn't a Tribunal still. I haven't had any ban on my account in a long ass time. I even got the free skin for being a good member of the community last year around Christmas (Nunubot). I can't even remember even getting any of those pop ups that happen after the game saying you were reported for X behavior.

I tried to get to the bottom of it by submitting a ticket and what follows are the emails back and forth. My first email to them was on March 11th and the last one I received from Riot regarding my inquiry was on April 9th. Talk about an expedient process.

All I wanted was to find out what on earth I did to receive a ban. What I got can be summed up with, "You were toxic. Don't be toxic" Brilliant.

Their response when I asked what I did wrong so I can correct my behavior (The first email for the second jpg) actually pissed me off a little because it came off as "too bad, deal with it, move along now" when I nicely asked what I did wrong so I can fix my mistakes.

The entire process is fairly frustrating because they handed out a punishment and told me to stop being toxic but they didn't explain really how I was being toxic, wouldn't give me chat logs to show me the context of my toxic behavior, wouldn't tell me the kind of reports I got and almost took an entire month to get what little info I could out of them.

Words like 'slut' and 'a fucking jugalo' will almost be interpreted negatively by other players, no matter the context. Those players clearly indicated they don't accept that behavior by reporting you. Therefore you got a small chat restriction.

Since you seem so desperate to find out how to improve your behavior: Don't say 'slut' anymore.

The worst part is that the two guys that make up ICP are actually pretty good people, so I can't really hate them.

But I just really, really hate their music and their more rabid section of the fanbase. Like, so much.

Same thing with like PewDiePie, or in League, Trick2G. Both are decent, pretty cool people. But their fans are atrocious.

Ha, god I needed that laugh. I saw the word gigolo and chuckled that you didn't get the reference. Then I read the second part and saw that you were being condescending about spelling, when you don't punctuate properly, and the word was actually spelled correctly but was a pop culture reference that you missed in your haste to judge someone else. At that point I didn't just chuckle, I almost fell over laughing.

I can't think of a possible reason to say the word 'slut' in this game except for, possibly, 'wow this skin makes this champion look like a slut.'

Leaving aside whether or not this player deserved punishment or not (it's not actually really relevant), the complete lack of info is pretty abysmal.

I'm all for punishing players for toxic behaviour, but letting them know exactly what they did wrong is an important step in actually letting them improve their behaviour.

Could easily see something like this happening. And with the new system, I could easily see it getting punished. I mean, Lyte did say there was a pretty high occurrence of false positives to be expected.

Whether OP was toxic or not, I don't much care. I just wish their support system was better than it currently is.

They need to change their stupid player support system. The messages before the player behavior specialists were the SAME exact messages that I got when I submitted a ticket about my smurf getting punished by mistake.... >.<

I agree with this post entirely. the system doesn't tell you exactly what you did wrong....

and the support team it's a fucking pain to get any answers from them.........

You're just another guy who claims innocence and tries to play it off. Or maybe you are innocent in the sense that you're indifferent from your behavior, because lets face it, maybe you're a sociopath. Who knows?
