Need help starting to play with an unlocked screen.

I've played with a locked screen since I started league (which was mid June, not too long ago), and I've been seeing that playing with a locked screen is not good at all. However, I seem to be too used to locked screen and hate using unlocked screen. I do know that hitting space will lock my screen until I release it, but, to me, it seems kinda annoying to move my screen, especially when i hit the edge of my screen and it flies way down the lane (i have no idea if that is something with my options or what.)

If anyone could shed some light on what I can do to work without a locked camera, it would be most appreciated.

I hated unlocked too because I felt that the camera moved too fast.

Try tinkering some settings to make the speed of how fast it moved comfortable to you. I still play locked, I just use unlocked to get a better grasp of the map.

I came from the fps world so mouse control was a must... it was an extreme annoyance of mine to find myself default locked to the center of the screen.

Try reducing mouse sensitivity, work on mouse control, find a default "aiming" point for you.

Okay, so I recently got lut of this, because i got myself a razer tartarus gamepad, which taught me the uses of unlocked

First off, go unlocked whenever you're farming, so you dint need to click constantly(and use attack move as well)

Next, use it to check the map when walking places, letting you more easily go in to help your team if needed without using the minimap

Flick the mouse to the edge of the screen, then reset to the middle on mouse only, or setup aszx as camera control for keyboard
