first please realize, if you are below diamond 3 then you truly know nothing about the game and all of the things you think you know are just wrong

Some things aren't meant to be fair your elo. In high elo yi is not viewed as OP. so unless the high elo players decide that he's too strong then yi will not be nerfed

however. lets go a step further. do you play to win? or do you play for fun?

if you are low elo and you play to win, then simply do this. queue ONLY for jungle / top (the two highest carry positions) and pick yi if he is up (yi can dominate top vs any champ if you are skilled with him) and if yi is taken/banned then take trynd who actually beats yi if the enemy takes yi. or as jungle go shyvna/udyr/noct/xin/jax which with devourer builds are just as strong as yi

because here is the truth. if you are lower elo, you WILL lose a game if you are playing support and a enemy who is a smurf is playing yi

the hard truth about league is some champions / positions have more carry ability than other positions

a diamond smurf playing support in silver has a 0% chance to win against a diamond smurf playing yi in silver elo

if you play to "win" then ONLY queue jungle / top and pick the most OP champions. and you will win if you are the most skilled person in the game. and if you lose, simply realize it REALLY IS your fault because clearly someone on the enemy team was better than you

now sure, sometimes someone in your game will be on heavy tilt and go 0-10 in lane and you cant fix that. but thats very rare. the other 95% of games you will win those if you TRULY are above your elo in skill

and if you ARENT above your elo in skill, then dont worry about things and just have fun in your elo and realize its a game. enjoy it.

if you play "for fun" then go ahead and queue for support or adc if you want. but realize in lower elo you will basically be playing without any real "carry ability" in the game. and your mostly playing for fun

Lower elo people don't have knowledge and experience to properly fight against certain champions so they call it broken. This is why all balancing decisions are based off of high elo play because they're the only ones who'll truly know if something is unbalanced or not

so im sorry to say but if you are low elo, you truly dont understand the game and your opinions dont matter. you really dontknow if someone is op or not.

sure, yi has incredible ability to "carry" in your elo, because everyone in your elo sucks.

the solution is to go jungle / top every game and pick yi yourself, or shyvana / jax, and be "better" than the enemy who picked yi

im sorry but you cannot "beat" the enemy yi player if you are playing support . and that is needed for the dynamic balance of league to exist where all sorts of champs with different powers have a acceptable winrate in high elo where teams play to champions strengths and weaknesses
