About you people crying about ekko

Just shut the fuck up.

You complaining about the passive?

The passive is his main shit, half of his ap ratios that can be guarunteed

You complaining about the Q?

It has the ap ratio of an annie Q, exept you can dodge this. Even if you fail the first one, you can dodge the second to ignore the majority of the damage.

Complaining about the W?

You are an idiot. That is easier to dodge than a Bard ult.

The E?

20% ap ratio...

The R?

The damage is only relavant if you are asleep. The rest of it is a great heal and the return portion of a zed R.

The kit has innate counterplay, if you get rekt, its your fault.

Also, the guy has a 50% win rate. No more, no less.

Win rate by itself is a terrible measurement on a champ's actual strength, it has always been.

I feel that his passive should only be proc by his AA only. It does too much damage on such a short time with his Q-AA combo.

The two I can forgive. It only depends if you have good sight focus on his hologram batting something.

The E?

20% ap ratio...

No one gives a fk about the 20% AP ratio. The problem with his E is the ability to proc item 3285 item 3100, and it does too much damage for a simple dash, and adding the fact that it is also useful to proc a 2.25 sec stun with his W.

The R?

The damage is only relavant if you are asleep. The rest of it is a great heal and the return portion of a zed R.

Same concept as R by knowing where his hologram is. But the thing I hate most about this kit is that it acts like a jail-free card.

You got caught? Just R out the the safe spot you were at 4 seconds ago.

Fight got too long & you're dying soon? Press R for that mega-Leblanc W 2.0 & accomodated with free heals that scales with the amount of damage you took.

You get stunned a lot? Hit item 3157 & repeat the last step.

If his passive applied to autos only, it would have a similar effect to making Zed ult only repeat damage from basic attacks. The E applies Ludens and Lich bane because it is a spell and a basic attack. Its Parrrley with more jukes. The R's utility is strong, and can definatley be a great escape.

Then again, its an ult.

Its meant to be impactful, and an escape is hardly the worst thing it could be.

Diana gets to do it, Ekko needs it too. Why compare him with Zed....? Also another fact that Diana can be played as an assassin role too.

Yes I get it, it applies on-hit & on-spell effects, you're just explaining the obvious. What I mean is it is pretty unreasonable that a dash that can pass through walls thicker than how Lucian/Graves cant even go through, and the fact he can double-jump to other places should be able to be proccing multiple item procs at the same time. It's kind of abusable. His passive & W passive already gets tto deal a shitton of damage itself, why must you add the damage toxicity even more with item 3285 item 3100 , and who knows? Til people get creative enough, he will also get to proc item 3153 ......

It needs to come with a cost, or a condition to do so. Last time, Riot nerfed Corki's W, his only escaping tool, by increasing his mana cost, so that Corki wont be able to be flying over terrains as much as he pleases (DrMundo teehee). Ekko gets to do it free, and gets to use his ult whenever & wherever he wants. Saying "it is an ult" is not even reasonable.

Most likely giving his ult a 100 mana cost, as planned by PBE, should do the trick, so that it is either:

a) He gets to deal damage with his QWE, & becomes oom instantly after using ult. b) Low on mana enough to only use ult in a teamfight. Should he use his ult to escape/deal damage or just use his QWE to do the job?

His players don't have to miss his spells. You always see this type of champ getting abused 90% pick/ban in pro scenes (when there are not champs running around with obvious broken numbers)

Why?

Because they don't have a weakness or counterplay besides praying their player is dog shiet division. And that's not what we call counterplaying, it's just capitalising on bad plays.

And that's not healthy in his type of genre, they are using Fighting game logic to balance a MOBA/ARTS game, ofc it's not good.

Plenty of counterplay. Half his kit is telegraphed.

In fighting games, everyone's kit is equally overloaded. And everyone is designed with no direct counter, since game is pretty much all about capitalising and baiting mistakes to capitalise.

But in LoL, there are the standard kits and the overloaded kits. A champ like Ekko has more buttons, options and opportunities to press than most people, which means, everyone has to outplay him with a lesser and more punishing kit to "counter" him? What sort of logic is that?

Telegraphed or not, a good player would obviously set up situations where it doesn't matter. Is that a good play? Only yes if he has the roughly same amount of things in the kit as everybody else.

Otherwise it's no different to abusing the enemy player's lag, and that isn't what we call skill.

As I said, pro scenes is almost always dominated by overloaded kits for a reason. Because pros make less mistakes, hence their kits simply become OP.

There are no multiplayer games I know of that uses the balance logic of "gets better as you play and only on a selective portion of the game" because that's just bull crap balance.

Complaining about Ekko burst is just... wierd.

He is an assasin, and fed assasins do damage.

Ekko does an assload of damage when fed, but his burst is harder to get off than most assasins, due to how much it is telegraphed.

Akali, Rengar, Diana, Shaco, Kat, Kass, Kha, all of them can also quickly kill their targets much more easily than Ekko, and though they are very irritating, I would not call them OP due to their counterplay.
