5 Champions That Change The Way You Have To Play The Game

Riot has managed to make every single champion very unique in their own regard. However, there are a few champions that completely change the way you have to play the game in order to win. Here are the top 5 champions that drastically change the game (in my opinion of course).

5) Soraka Soraka

Kicking off the list is one of the most hated supports in the entire game, which surprisingly isn't a high damage bot-lane mage. Everyone gets frustrated when the targeted enemy just won't die due to a Soraka constantly healing off all the damage dealt to them.

The fact is, if you want to win any fights against a team with Soraka, you either a) burst down the target nearly instantly, or b) focus Soraka down first. Because this goes against everything most players are trained to do, that being focusing the enemy carries, Soraka makes this list as a dramatically game-changing champion.

4) Kayle/Zilean/Kindred Kayle Zilean Kindred

This is an easy one: the ability to prevent death has infinite value. Because of this, keeping a squishy carry alive through massive focus completely changes how fights are to be played. The ults of these champions have to be baited out, or else their carries will have the greatest protection of all. It's no doubt that these champions are extremely game changing.

3) Twisted Fate TwistedFate

You could really say this about Pantheon, Shen, and Nocturne as well, but map presence is OP. The very existence of these sort of ultimates puts applies so much pressure alone. With them in the game, players have to constantly keep in the back of their minds the thought of another champion suddenly showing up and swaying a fight.

Why TF above the others listed? Because he has so much more versatility; his pick-a-card can give him a single target stun or an AoE slow depending on which would serve the situation better, his ultimate gives him vision of every enemy, and he can port to ANY SPOT within his ultimate's range. In comparison, Shen can only teleport to an ally, Nocturne can only jump to an enemy, and Pantheon's ultimate take a ton of time to go off. This makes Twisted Fate a very game changing champion, well worthy of this list.

2) Rengar Rengar

Someone once said that when the enemy team has a fed Rengar, you're no longer playing a MOBA, you're playing a Survival Horror; Rengar is the monster, and you are not a fighter, meaning your only means of defending yourself is evading him and sticking with your allies. If he finds you alone, he will kill you.

A giant stealth that gives vision of enemies, a leap that counts as an auto attack, and the most notable 1 shot in the entire game (besides maybe Talon), Rengar makes forces you to play extremely cautiously once he gets rolling; ADCs can't be left alone to farm bot, and squishy Mids can't be walking to Blue Buff alone. Is this healthy? Is this balanced? I won't comment on it (I'm a Rengar main), but due to the completely new state of mind you have to have when playing against him, Rengar definitely deserves a high spot on this list.

1) Shaco Shaco

Imagine if Rengar could stealth-ult you at level 2, without his ult, and with ignite. This is Shaco. Everyone calls him a troll pick until they play against a hardcore Shaco main, who will make you deathly afraid of entering your own jungle.

His stealth-blink is such an amazing outplay potential alone, granting him an additional auto-attack reset that critically strikes, that trying to outplay him during an invade is almost impossible. Combined with his ult, he will make you throw your keyboard across the room when he wins a fight through pure deception.

Because of the sere amount of pressure he applies by just being in the game, always making his enemies fear him magically appearing in their lane, Shaco is my top pick of the most game-changing champion in the entire game.

Honorable Mentions:

Evelynn Evelynn - Similar to Shaco, just without the incredible amount of outplay potential.

Blitzcrank Blitzcrank - 1 hook can shift the entire game, so you always have to look out for it.

Nasus/Veigar Nasus Veigar - They will eternally stack and get stronger, meaning you have to remember to keep a babysitter on them and end the game quickly. Sion, Thresh, and Bard also infinitely stack, but (not to be mean) they aren't as threatening.

and finally

Fiddlesticks Fiddlesticks - Also very scary for laners, a Fiddle ult from over an unwarded wall is a major threat that makes you think twice about going aggressive. His ultimate alone can also turn the tide of a fight and probably a game.

These are my picks for the most game changing champions. Agree? Disagree? Leave it all in the comments!

Not Bard?

In regards to his enemies, they really don't have to adjust their playstyle that much. His ultimate is among the most game-changing, but it really doesn't change the enemy teams mentality while playing.

I couldn't choose between the 3 invulnerability champs.

You should have added a 6th for champions with global ults. Nothing is worse than having Baron stolen from halfway across the map.

Well I somewhat discussed this with Twisted Fate, but I see what you mean.

i would say singed should be in there somewhere. when you play singed, you're not really a top laner as much as you are.. a distraction? playing against a singed you always have this nagging feeling of "well we could force a fight 4v5 and get dragon but this FUCKING SINGED IS GOING TO TAKE ALL OUR TURRETS" and it makes you play a completely different game. i don't think it's the same as other splitpush champs. there's something about his playstyle that i really like.

im shit at him tho pls teach me singed
