Riven Jungle Recommended Items

yo.

Riven with smite has the recommended starting items of item 1039 item 2031

it should be item 1041 item 2003

after first back she doesn't really need pots, so the flask thing is useless. also mana regen is useless on her. better to boost autos and get a bit of life steal during your first clear. thanks

I agree, item 1039 is useless on her since she doesnt have mana, while item 1041 is the right item since its lifesteal procs off of her passive. Rito need to change this!

The point is to buy the mana item to show disrespect. It's the same reason you were supposed to start with a mana pot on Garen before they removed them.

is hunters talisman seriously recommended? WTF

They probably recommended Hunter's Talisman since Riven's abilities deal AoE damage, allowing her to continually steal health from every monster in the camp.

While I agree that Hunter's Machete is likely the better option (I've not tried Riven jungle at all), that's probably why they recommended Hunter's Talisman.

They did the same thing to Shyvana (because of her Burnout), though Hunter's Machete is by far the better option on her (due to her synergy with attack speed and on-hit effects).

hm i didn't think of that.

i did consider the effect, but it says steals 20 health over 5 seconds...so while it might refresh does it stack from hitting multiple monsters? i assumed it was a single buff that is refreshed each time you aa

in any case i feel like the life steal and bonus on hit outweighs that effect

Damaging a monster applies HEALTH DRAIN, which deals 20 magic damage over 5 seconds while restoring as much as health

Based on the wording, I assume that you can steal health from multiple monsters at once and it refreshes the duration each time you hit them.

If you hit all 4 Raptors with Riven's Q or W, then you should be stealing 20 health per 5 seconds four times for a total of 80 health per 5 seconds.

Also, I did not know that they give you different item sets if you have Smite. I typically just use my own custom item sets for champions I play frequently.

this is awkward. i just tested both out with the same rune page and path for consistency...i actually ended my first clear with more HP remaining with item 1039 O.o

i feel like the effect might stack...but maybe not refresh until it has expired from the specific monster you hit? you don't get a buff or anything though so it's kinda hard to verify...but it does seem to work better lol

And now you know.

And knowing is half the battle.
