Annie is getting buffed to compensate for the DFG changes and Annie is never going to compare to Janna and Thresh. When they make her E castable on allies we'll see, but until then she's just a nerfed midlaner who is trying to squeeze her way into the support role because she's pretty much as loved as Amumu. She can try all she wants but she's never going to stick as a support.
