blue build if you go mid. Edit:

I would go tear into ER into gauntlet into MM into LW.

I thought blue build was for if you were snowballing.

You go blue buld as much as possible. it's not the most dps but it gives the most utility and a very strong power spike. also I don't suggest trinity force --> IE cuz it's a pretty weak 2 item power spike.

Why must mid Ezreal always go blue tho?

He doesn't. And honestly it's not as powerful as it was. You give up too much mid game power for the late game payoff by building an early tear and IBG gives a lot less damage then TriForce. IMO it isn't worth it unless you're heavily relying on the kiting with the slow, but with TF/Furor boots, you can kite just as well with TF (maybe even better, since TF/F you get speed where IBG doesn't slow the entire team)

its playstyle is different from an classic ADC, You're going mid and by doing so you're replacing a mage (possibly) In order to fill that role you want to go someone who can take a bit of shots but still dish out damage.

You dont have to go blue build ez mid but its probably going to work the best.

I dunno, attack damage scales into late game better... and since AD casters go mid as well (Zed, for instance), I do'nt see anything wrong with AD Ezreal. Maybe some mana sustain, though item 3508 or item 3043

You should always be snowballing as mid Ezreal :^)

Manamune, TF, LW, BT, CDR boots, CDR scaling blues. Only IBG if they have a kiteable team[And I'm talking no point and click hard engage type stuff] or if you're going super hard on a poke comp.

Hell yeah, Season One meta.

AD Mids used to be the standard, actually. Ash, Ez, Sivir and Corki were all very standard AD mid picks. It use to be a sort of Rock, Paper, Scissors between Fighters, Mages, and ADCs in mid lane. However as stronger meta's and the bottom AD/Support pattern got established (and strengthened heavily with the addition of support items like GP10 items and Sightstone), this became less and less common.

No reason you can't do that, though. Especially if you have a lot of magic damage on your team - an AP jungler like Amumu, Fiddle or Sej along with an AP top and even a Magey support like Annie, having an AD Mid can better balance out your team's damage output.

If you are going AD Ezreal, a few tips:

  • I don't recommend blue Ezreal. It was strong when it first was popular but the damage suffers too much. The reduction in item 3025 's radius and slow for ranged champions makes it too-little-too-late with the amount of mobility in the meta, item 3004 delays your damage by encouraging an early item 3070 and the payoff isn't worth it.

  • Don't focus on crits so much with Ezreal. His Q is his primary source of safe damage during poke/sieging and it scales off AD, can not crit, but can proc on-hit effects and Lifesteal. That is why Trinity is such a huge benefit for him; the damage proc off the Sheen effect is powerful on his Q and he can use all of the stats to some degree. Some crit is good (having an IE as a late game damage is still fine) but don't rush IE/PD or IE/SS builds. Ezreal isn't an AA-focused carry, he's more of a ranged mixed-damage caster.
