Hey RIOT, newsflash: NOONE will buy the new crap support items!

A Support wont get a 6 item build anyway, so worrying about Sightstone taking one space is not an issue for Support players, and losing the actives of the full build support items is NOT worth one more Item slot (while also losing the possible bonus HP from Ruby.) And on top of that, new Ruby now goves you 500 HP and has a new passive, reducing the ACTIVE COOLDOWN of Items by 10%.

So in short, you sacrifice: -The CDR on the max level support item (which is NOT on the ward versions) -The ACTIVE of your support item -Up to 300 HP -10% CDR for ITEMS

For ONE EXTRA ITEM SPACE. Thats a joke trade. noone in their right mind would do that.

The active effects on the Level 3 support items carry way too much value for the team.

(For those who dont know: Supports can now choose between buying the olf final support items or fusing the Level 2 with Sightstone, which gives you a version of the Level 3 Support Item, where the active (Speedboost, Shield, AoE Slow) has been replaced with "place a ward")

I get full 6 items builds as supports all the time. This is actually pretty nice because I would often get into a scenario where I'm holding onto SS and my support item and end up having to sell the support item.

What, do you only play games that last min. 60 minutes? Or do you steal kills from your ADC? And on second notice: looked at your match history, YOU DONT EVEN PLAY SUPPORT!

ok, and where within these few support pickd did you get the 6 items? I see 2 games as lux where you got 6, but since you also got way too much CS for a support (still not enough for a mid) I assume your team was stupid and gave you CS, which doesnt happen in many games, cause CS should go to carrys.

Those were support games, you can see that I was using Sightstone. I didn't take any CS except from lanes that were getting pushed that no one was near in order to take gold from anyway - there's absolutely no issue with a support taking CS when the tower is going to get that CS anyway. It's also not stupid to allow the support to get CS because they can use it to buy items in order to support the team. As you can see from those games, I managed to get a lot of kills and assists which is a huge factor towards why my team won those games - though the majority of the gold was associated with kill contributions or objectives over anything.

I have plenty of 40-50 minutes games where the support hits full build. Also, blue item's active is worthless.

I beg to differ. A support is full build around 40 minutes if they are doing ok. If you don't intend to upgrade your gold item to tier 3, the combo item is a great option because Ruby Sightstone is usually the last thing you bother with too.

What the fuck do I want 10% CDR for items for if I can't use my speed boost active? Yeah this sounds pretty dumb so far. Talisman op.

Raoul1 votes

You get the 10% CDR for Items AND the speedboost active by going Ruby Sightstone and the old Talisman. You lose both if you go for the new Level 3.

Oh, you had it worded such that the new item had the item cooldown passive. Talisman and Ruby for me!
