Seriously blue essence is riots worst change in the history of league.
Before patch, a couple weeks for a 6300 champ, after patch, haven't picked up a 3150 champ in a month. Mind Blowing.

I owned all the champs before this change but thinking about it, there are a lot of ways to gain champions through the leveling process but if you're already level 30 or beyond perhaps the champions shards need to only drop for champions that you don't own? This might make it easier to flesh out your collection I'd say.
