So silence doesn't interrupt channeling?

Playing as soraka lately and noticing that her E does not stop fiddle from channeling his ult, or interrupt WW during his ult. Is this the way silence has always been? Have I just been ignorant? Because I've always been under the assumption that silence would stop channeling, yet it doesn't. Intended, or a bug?

Edit: Ok restested a couple of games. It DOES stop fiddlesticks from ulting while he's channeling it, but yea the animation continues for a short bit after that. It did NOT stop WW when he ulted into the zone. I don't know if this is intended or not. I didn't get to retest whether you can stop WW in the middle of his ult if you cast it while he's already doing it.

If it truly isn't, it's a bug. But if you interrupt a channel with a normally soft CC (like silence), their animation will continue. It won't do anything, but it still looks like their channeling.

There are some cases of silences interrupting the damage but not the animation.

As for Fiddle's ult, the channel animation is longer than the channel time.

I have been having similar problems. I even reported it in the bugs forum http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/bug-report/ApfGYYus-sorakas-e-is-not-functioning-properly

While it is clearly a gamebreaking bug, I have been doing fine. With Soraka I grinded my way back into Diamond :P

That's probably a bug, Silence interrupts channels last I checked.

WW ult isn't channeled. It can however be interrupted by displacement CC.

Maybe they were just continuing the animation then. I feel like it would help if that would get fixed, for clarity at least. I'll do some further testing. The fiddlesticks ult was stopped by our xin zhao shortly after I used equinox on him so it wouldn't have gone through anyway, and I didn't notice much detail from the WW ult other than he was continuing his animation as well and the champion he used it on didn't move any (but perhaps he thought he was still under CC, I don't know). I'll do more testing.

Fiddlesticks ult specifically has a very wonky animation and often the channeled portion will continue even though the ult itself has been stopped. I have died a few times because I didn't pay attention to my channel bar and thought my ult was still going to go off because I was still doing the pre-jump animation.

Ok so yea I retested it and it did stop fiddlesticks from ulting while he was channeling.

Something I don't know if is intended or not is if WW ults someone while they're in the zone, it does not silence him or stop him from ulting. I can see how that could be intended, but at the same time, maybe that should be noted in the tooltip? Because it does say it silences anyone in the zone until the duration is up, and if he's still casting his ult, he's not really silenced. Am I wrong about this? Also I didn't test whether or not you can interrupt him during his ult by casting it while he's ulting.
