what happens is you learn to not be an arrogant fuck and accept yourself with all the mistakes you make, thus enabling you to become better at the game.

My husband researches the fuck out of this game, constantly analyzes, reads, listens, watches, about all kinds of things. CONSTANTLY messing with his runes and everything else, builds etc. He's quite knowledgeable but his in game is stiff- he doesn't physically play as much, where as I'm the complete opposite. I have good game sense (when I'm support), but I don't know nearly as much as he does, and if i have questions i just ask him. He was placed in bronze 1, while i don't think he actually belongs there what so ever, he has sense, just needs to work on his warding and when to do what-like team fight. Would I take advice from him? absolutely, we take advice from each other. I never bothered with ranked, but my solo-que got to gold level on my main, if that means anything. It doesn't always necessarily mean they're stupid, watch them, then see. Watch for the little things, because remember- everyone has bad games.

Because even a stupid person knows some things. If someone is a lower elo than you, you know more than them. But that doesn't mean the one thing they're advising you on isn't one of the few things they know more about than you do. This applies to so much more than LoL - for example, if you're doing the same degree as someone but they typically get worse grades than you, they can still help you with a particular subject that they do better in than you.

Or, you know, you are primary a jungler/adc and want to shake things up a bit by trying another lane in which case you might actually be worse at the new role than the person you belittle.

why wouldnt u?

do u take advice in life? im sure you have been given it before and you used your own reasoning skills to decide if this was something you wanted to attempt in your own life or not.... from there we then make the determination that yes the advice was good or bad depending on what the outcome was....

not listening to people simply because you view them as inferior is a failure to open you mind to ideas that are not your own.... up to you of course, but it can be difficult to look outside the box that we create for ourselves, and sometimes the only way of expanding ourselves is to step outside that box, and try advice that we would not normally think is good....

it wont always work out, but it does give you a greater range of experiences to then make future decisions based off of....

well, my 2 cents
