@RIOT Champion rework/balance team needs to be a bigger department

This is the problem I see. A lot of champs get hit bad by an item nerf and then through a span of months those champs get buffed gradually. During this period, these champs are unrewarding and low tier. There are also lots of champs that have just been left for over years to be picked by niche players only.

For example let's look at the mana regen nerfs. Athene's was nerfed and morellonomicon price increased to make Athene's look more appealing. Older champs with actual mana gates like Anivia and Swain are just overlooked at this point. It's not fun to go oom in 1 or 2 spell rotations while having a completed mana item. I don't even know if riot looks at these champs since they aren't popular and it's frustrating. Also Orianna got hit pretty hard by this and her nerf to her base damage in order to keep her passive in line. (I actually do not understand this nerf btw, since it just makes her passive into a compensation for a really bad auto - meaning she essentially has no passive.) No planned changes.

tldr: there are tons of champs left to rot and forgotten. balance team is understaffed. all champs should be given same amount of time to be looked at - not just the popular ones.
