Now that would be OK if this was low elo, but the scary thing that baffles me is this is happening while i play normal games with and vs all elos, diamond plat wtv you name it, almost never do i see the fucking trinket upgraded at min 30 even when i beg for them to upgrade them.
Ffs ppl it's 250 gold for broken shit like two rechargeable wards for free for the rest of the game, jesus christ.

Not justifying to say never upgrade it but what the point of wasting 250 gold if you never use it anyways. There is a key difference to in high elo I would assume supports actually put wards down and it seems like they know when they are being ganked so they back off any the right times.

And Dyrus, a challenger LCS player, usually upgrades his trinket because more wards helps.

Not in Solo Q he doesn't. He buys them when playing in Solo Q as well.
Also, do you think that there may be a reason his team would stress upgrading his warding trinket? Do you think it might be because doing so is a very good idea?

SoloQ and competitive are two very different things and if he wants to do something in competitive then what better place to get that habit than doing it in SoloQ? If you don't use your trinket then why bother upgrading it? you upgrading it does nothing for you if you don't use it i the first place

I have never in my entire life seen Dyrus get the upgraded stealth totem in an actual pro game. The standard meta seems to be a sweeping lens for the top laner, since the jungler typically has a sightstone.
Also, once again, that's a non-point. That some people are too dumb to use their trinket's free wards doesn't invalidate the premise of the thread, no more than the claim that "Diet and exercise are good for losing weight" isn't invalidated by saying "Some people are too lazy to lose weight".
