Hey Kha'Zix mains, thoughts on new preseason Kha?

I love my man Khazix , and have just recently done the double jump successfully (now i have to get it down consistantly xD). What I'm concerned about, however, are the item changes in this new preseason. My main three concerns are: cleave being removed from item 3077 /price increase on item 3074 , price increase on item 3071 , and removal of armor pen on item 3707 . Because of these, I made a new build for the update:

Tracker's Knife (Warrior) item 3158 item 3074 item 3142 Death's Danceitem 3026

With alternatives as:

item 3139 item 3156 item 3071 Mortal Reminder, Lord Dominik's Regardsitem 3117

Just some clarity, I choose lucidity boots because of the synnergy with the new mastery that gives 15% cdr on summoners, meaning with the boots it's a total of 25% summoner spell cdr. I was also thinking of using a mastery page of 0/18/12, taking Stormraiders Surge in Cunning and Insight in Resolve.

So, what do you guys think? What will be different, or will there be nothing to worry about?

Why Trackers? Couldn't we still take Skirmishers for the burn/vision or Stalkers for the additional CC?

I don't play Kha'zix's, so I don't know much.

Tracker's is just a strong general option for any situation, because it is useful no matter the circumstance. If you are getting invaded early, you can ward and sweep better. If you are invading, you can keep an eye out for enemies. If it's mid-late game, you can ward objectives and sweep vision at the same time.

Especially with the removal of green wards, Tracker's knife is essential to your team.

Skirmishers and Stalkers still work, but because of the removal of green wards, trackers is really powerful for warding. It allows you to have the equivalent of the upgraded warding trinket and have a red trinket. Being able to place and sweep both on cooldowns is much better than a small slow

I also like going tri, for a little bit more burst on my auto after I Q an enemy. Other than that Kha really won't be amazing or too strong. ADC will prove to be able to out sustain his burst with all the healing/damage reduction in the game Riot is deciding to implement. Kha will also have a worse clear speed because of item nerfs making him not be able to reach his spike sooner rather then later. Also they are nerfing the health on cleaver, while Kha craves raw ad for burst, the health is still super important for clearing the jungle and taking poke from the enemy.

item 3070 riot really isn't helping out the shabby state of the bug through these changes.

You mean tri force? I don't know, other than sheen and phage passives the stats arent all that great, especially since they are reducing its efficiency

The removal of cleave on Tiamat will definitely hurt him a bit, however I don't believe it'll be a massive problem.

For PBE stuff I'm currently experimenting with a 6/18/6 page, which sounds like ass initially, but I'm taking sorcery and double edged sword out of ferocity, Recovery and Explorer out of Resolve, and then running down the cunning tree with wanderer, runic affinity, merciless, dangerous game, precision, and either Thunderlord's Decree, or Stormraider's Surge.

It makes him very fast getting to ganks between the 3% out of combat speed, and the additional 12% in river and brushes, still lets him have good damage bumps as an assassin, and then I'm trying to figure the value of Thunderlord's vs Stormraider's. I think Stormraider's is probably the better pick due to the lower CD and the ability to slip around fights more quickly.

I dislike Mobility boots for Kha'zix, I typically end up selling them, I recommend sticking to Lucidity, Ninja Tabi, or Merc Treads.

That's a big problem because he needs to get kills early. Once it moves to the team-fight phase he's screwed.
