When will people stop calling lanes, when they don't know how to play it?

So Tired of Getting in matches, with people who call one or two lanes and say. " Top or mid Pref" then go 0-8 and can't figure out why they are dying. (oh and that's not because they were ganked, no that's straight out loss to the other side"

Been getting a lot of these sadly and my goodness the most recent one was just horrid.

Got a top Lissandra, who said the Quote, then goes 0-8 vs their opponent Gnar. yup i said Gnar.

I mean i have no issues with people wanting to go their preferred lanes but seriously.

IF you don't know how to play you're position, then don't call it.

You do realize Gnar isn't actually a bad champion right? He's considered low tier because of his matchups, and when against certain unorthodox lanes he actually excels quite well.

Before you complain about someone's performance please pay close attention to who actually won the lane for the enemy. Did Lissandra made bad plays, or was the Gnar player simply that much better?

If you're in ranked seeing this, fine. Doesn't matter how good your Lane opponent is, if you're getting your preferred Lane you should know how to recognize a better opponent and play passively so to not feed at the least. If you can't do that, practice up in normals before playing ranked.

If you're in normals (like I am being pre 30) then no. As frustrating as many games are when people call a role (taking it from you when you could carry from that role) and they proceed to feed (and you can't carry because you're not in your preferred role), it's merely that - frustrating. They're calling the role because they either like it or want to learn it for when they play ranked. They could find intermediate bots too easy and still get crushed in pvp. Let them practice, and work on what you can in the meantime. It sucks losing out on ip and xp, but in the end a normal loss doesn't cost you anything and could give you experience on how to play from behind (e.g. I had a majorly loss game where we managed to score a huge teamfight win right after they killed Baron, we still lost since we were so far behind and down inhibitors but it showed me how to defend Baron better).

People will always play like this especially if they watch a pro play something, they'll be like "He can, and so can I!" ranked or not, dumb people will be dumb, it is how life works.
