Honestly, this "tank assassin" that's been going on for a while now needs to end.
Seriously, now that tank ekko is making another round again and the rise with tank yasuo this shit needs to end or it will basically be the norm now.

As long as Yasuo and Ekko exist, they are going to be incredibly hard to balance and are never going to be fun to play against. Just too many abilities and too many different build paths. The new thing with giving champs enough abilities for 2 champs has to stop.
Getting rid of keystones would be a good start since they've really brought nothing but harm to the game. Then Riot could focus on resisting the urge to put percent damage in already overloaded kits, and then we'll see what happens from there.
They kinda murdered the 'Assassin' role now that every other ADC and it's mom builds AD-Caster items and is basically a ranged Assassin.
The most obvious solution is to build durability and rely on base stats to take out squishies, hence Tank Assassins - or in other words fighters.

Not only have they seemingly ignored the concept entirely, But they also designed a new champ who was built FOR this.
sadly it is to close to worlds and Riot will refuse to address this problem this season (if ever).
The problem is the nature of the kits being designed by unqualified designers. They then tell the test teams that X champ is Y play style and informs them to address the champ that way.
Until riot forces the test team to think outside of the box and see what a kit can actually do instead of dreamed by the designer, problems will continue to arise. Until that day, we will constantly have kit abuse builds that Riot will say " did not see that happening"
This is the rare example of exemption of a community being 100X smarter than a small group. Usually the masses fall to the lowest common denominator (the stupid people). What does this say about the people at riot where the opposite is true?
Imo there should be legitimately designed tank-assassins, that have 50% the assassinyness of assassins and 50% the tankyness of tanks. The problem you address of course is the champions that unintentionally have more than 50% of both.
I also really want an Assassin Support. Because reasons.
