Tahm is Extremely Balanced

I just played on the pbe and he is an extremely balanced champion. He can peel for isi adc just as good as anyone in the game (braum status) and has great base damage with his ult passive while building full tank. The catch is that he has 0 mobility, literally none. Yeah he has his ult but as far as dashes move speed increases, etc. he has nothing. It is pretty hard to land his passive so basically i just focused on using my devour on their initiator so my team could counter initiate and he couldn't touch my adc. In my opinion his kit is extremely well designed with obvious strengths and weaknesses. Riot did a great job designing this champion.

He has bard syndrome. His kit looks overpowered on paper. but in reality is actually fairly balanced.

If you nom an enemy can you flash over a wall to really remove them from the fight? I assume you can.

Doesn't he get a move speed buff for eating an allied champion?

Who ever says this champion is balanced hasn't put any sort of AP on him and nom'd an enemy. >> His W does 36% of max health base, going up by 4% per 100 AP. Even if you only have the tankier AP items like a Liandry's, Rylai's, and a RoA, you'll have nearly 300 AP, which is 48% of ANYONE's health. His W is like... disgustingly broken. It needs to not have a ratio or have its base DRASTICALLY reduced. Nom'ing some one for 2s is already a LOT of CC, especially if you nom a diving champ, but doing 36%+ of their health ON TOP OF THAT? It's like WTF

It's pretty much Skarner's ult on steroids.

Most supports lack mobility, that doesn't really make him unique.

I don't know either way whether he's balanced, but I just wanted to point that out.

From what I've seen of PBE streams he looks a bit over the top. Not having dashes is not enough compensation for having just about everything else. He has insane damage while building full tank, is one of the best tanks in the game with that insane shield, and obviously has game changing utility on multiple spells.

You can't really remove his utility without totally reworking his kit -- besides, that utility is what makes him unique so that is the last thing that should go.

Therefor, I foresee either his shield being nerfed so he isn't ridiculously tanky, or the bonus damage from HP being lowered so he can't dish out so much without building any damage.
