I get that they are oppressive bot lane if they are hardy, but right now a strong smelling fart will kill them. Please make it so they require some interaction and not just "Oh look, I have an AOE ability that I was going to use anyways".
they only take 30% dmg from aoe if I remember right, so aoe isn't the problem anymore, it's the fact they die in one auto.
The issue with buffing Malz is that he's to strong support when his abilities are good. He's insanely hard to balance Mid because of how we'll he works bot.
I haven't tried him, but my friend used him for the first time today. All I remember from our match was

She killed all my voidlings with volley

Lol, I had no clue what he was talking about for a good 20 seconds. But yea I guess she got away with <100 and killed all his voids by accident maybe.

You can basic attack them with a support and they will die basically.
@thread The voidlings dying instantly is a problem of compound nerfs and riots double-down stance on reworks. It was a change meant to "nerf support malzahar" but they gave him back his ultimate damage which killed support malzahar because it gave him back the lethal edge he was missing. At this point, his voidlings being so weak and not scaling defensively with malzahars HP/resistances is riot not understanding what made malzahar work to begin with.
