This is the kind of meta I want. Teach the squishy carries that they can bleed (imo mobility has gotten out of hand when I'm the only one of the team respecting his taunt and I'm the tank).

Good luck with that. Riot has decided they don't like point-and-click CC (old Sion Q, Veigar, Taric's being reworked, so is Ryze). Let the mobility creep!

they don't mind point and click cc they just don't like the range veigars had. Also sion was just a mess before the rework.

I think they actually do dislike point and click CC. Like I said, they're reworking Taric and Ryze, and if Taric keeps his point-and-click stun, I'll gladly eat my words. I know Ryze at least is losing his point and click Q.

They redid maokai and he kept his cc. They also reworked taric once and he kept his point and click. I think that riot more has a philosophy that if cc has long range it should have low reliability. However if it is short range it should have high reliability or if it is high range and high reliability it should have short duration. Veigar's old E had long range high duration and high reliability. Which is why it was a problem. Sions old kit was a mess either his ap skills were horrible overbearing or he was trash. Ryze has a lot of problems but his root is a very small part of that. Taric as said before went through a rework once and the big change they made to him was to gut his damage. Basically his stun was never the problem. Talon lost his silence because he could kill you before you respond with his old silence.

I hope you're right. It's just that recently we've seen a lot of it removed, so it's easy to be worried about the future, especially when mobility is so rampant, and reliable hard CC is its best counter.

Except Galios ult has about a .5 second delay for his animation and if you are quick about it you can easily break it if you fire your CC as he casts. That is one of the reason I stopped playing Galio as I got higher people started breaking it making it useless.

You know Aatrox 's Q? Yeah I wish they add that to his ult. As in he jumps in the air before diving down into his ult. Make the range shorter idc. Make him have a lil delay in the air idc. But if you add that to Galio's ult he's instantly thematically correct and 10x more amazing.
