I'm not sure if I'm for the LeBlanc revert, whereas I was for the Rengar and Kog'Maw ones.
I know I can't be the only one who actually prefers the new LeBlanc to the old one. Whereas the Kog'Maw rework was literally impossible to balance without removing on hit items and the Rengar rework basically just slowed him down with a janky Q nobody liked, I actually think the LeBlanc changes had some legs and I don't want to see her reverted. Her RR (as well as being able to pick any spell with R) makes the champion so insanely fun.
LeBlanc was one of the first characters I got into when League started and I lost interest after they removed her silence. With the rework she had new mechanics and was fun to me again. There's so many mindgames and outplays you can do with her RR (or just use it for vision sometimes). I know she has been a balancing nightmare and was extremely OP for much of her post-rework state, but I don't think hard to balance should be a signal to revert entirely. Old LeBlanc's kit was a nightmare for a while as well and eventually she ended up super underpowered, and it seems she's going to be even weaker in the revert with R cooldown changes.
I was going to go on and write a lot more about my feelings but I just can't articulate them in a fast enough way so I'll say this: whereas Rengar and Kog'Maw changes were wildly unpopular or impossible to balance, LeBlanc's was a mixed bag. I honestly think they should just throw some damage back on her other spells and change her passive to pre-rework, as the passive is the main issue. Riot has shown recently with the Rengar revert and Kayn that they kind of went back on their stance that assassins shouldn't instantly kill people (thank god, because the forced 1.5 second delay was super unfun to play as) so I'm sure reverting passive could be fine if the numbers were right.
Also, while I'm talking about reworks, Riot has done plenty of absolutely unpopular ones that they never changed back, and the favoritism really makes me angry. All I'm saying is revert Kindred, they are viable with the new runes but I miss health shred and don't want them to end up in the dumpster again after bottom lane finally gets nerfed. There's like 7 total Kindred players on the face of the earth but Kindred revert requests hit the front page like once a week, most of us are not fans of the changes but they aren't as popular as LeBlanc so we basically get no comments :/
