Riot can we nerf the prices of supports so my brother can actually be a support main.

We've been playing everyday and its really a freakin nuisance when you need over 30 games to buy Leona (Someone he wants ) And he also wants thresh.

Like damn dude. Its easier to just be a top laner or mid because those champs are a lot cheaper.

We can fix some of these queue times if we actually made support costs just a BIT affordable..

No. Save up and buy the champions LIKE EVERYONE ELSE

Or buy them with RP

There are champs in every role at every price bracket. There's a pretty steady balance across all 131 champs. Some, naturally, are newer than others, and their price reflects it. Additionally, Annie is an amazing support. She has a hard stun and great poke. In fact, almost any tank can be a support due to the CC they have, as well as most mages. Veigar also makes a great aggressive support. Do your research before knocking them.

....Lowering support champ costs certainly won't fix the problem of a lack of supports. Leona is already only 4800 IP, and Thresh will be lowered to 4800 after the next 11 champs have been released, have fun waiting for that. If your brother wants a cheap support, get Karma, Soraka, Janna, or Sona. Those are cheap options. Riot won't be changing the way they price champs any time soon, so might as well grind it out.

He wants aggressive supports. Most of them are 5k

or get blitzcrank he's super aggressive. if riot made pirces of champs based on where they would play a multitude of things would happen. 1 when you get all the champs for your position (which shouldn't take long with a low price on them) you have no other champs to look forward to buying. 2 basically forcing these champs to play a specific role. 3 leona, thresh and braum are fun picks to take into the top lane as well and have more versatility than that and have a higher skill level then champs such as annie and soraka so it doesn't make sense for them to be cheaper.

I just dont respect supports being that high price.

Alistar 1350 Annie 450 Blitzcrank 3150 Lux 3150 Sion 1350 Sona 3150 Taric 1350

Should hold him over till he farms IP just like everyone else.

Sion and annie are not supports peopl should learn.

And thats what i mean, theres only a very very select few suports that dont require 30 games. No wonder nobody wants to support.. They cant even play that role with how expensive supports are

Zilean at 1350 IP is cheap and is commonly played with an aggressive playstyle

Sion is easy to learn and so is annie, the only challenging part is about saving your stun, but that shouldn't be a problem if you don't get too agressive and hold onto it for the moment your ADC can follow up for chain CC.

That's not even the slightest reason why, or else, explain those who goes top or mid & has to purchase Darius AurelionSol Zed Viktor Jhin

There are a lot more mid and top champs then supp champs

Why not? Sion had the highest winrate of any support for quite some time, and Annie is amazing at wrecking low elo players (and is very easy to play).

Support players are not limited to champions with the "support" tag, you know.

http://champion.gg/champion/Sion/Support Over 52% win rate in Plat+... it was higher, he was sitting at around 56% win rate, but it went down in the last patch or two.

http://www.lolking.net/champions/annie?chartType=winrate&region=na&map=sr&queue=1x1&league=bronze#statistics I couldn't find any info about support Annie in lower elo, but this does show she generally performs better in Bronze/Silver than other leagues.

I see what you're saying but a .92% play rate does not justify any winrate

I mean. If someone only wants to play high win/play rate champions then I can see the problem. They're mostly expensive, yeah.

Doesn't mean the other champions don't work, though.
