So i just got out of a ranked match where i asked the first pick to ban leona, his then proceeded to call me a noob and tell me that i was going to feed all game. Is it truly that bad to want a leona ban when you main zyra sup? i mean if leona gets on top of me she just eats me alive. so thoughts?
Well, if you are going to do better in the game with Leona banned, then I think it's legit.
I dislike how bans seem to be community champion balancing, rather than match-based balancing. But maybe that's just me.
if you still have room to ban akali,fizz,yasuo then go for it :D
Ban whoever you want, the bans don't really matter most of the time it's just who you don't wanna play against.
Zyra has a pretty good matchup with Leona if you're good at Zyra. Her QW poke outranges Leona E and Zyra peels for her ADC quite well.
That said, if you're not comfortable with the matchup, it's totally fine to ban champs you don't want to face.
I think it depends on the elo and the team comp.
She's easy to counter-pick, but otherwise it's not a bad thing to ban her.
Anyone with powerful zoning or denial can counter her; 
It probably isnt worth it. It would be better to try to counter leona with smart play than with banning her because she is pretty much a one trick pony, and a good support will just play alistar if she is banned
Zyra outright beats Leona, just arrive in lane early to push the lane to avoid getting lvl 2 cheesed. No way to lose except if the enemy lane gets jungle intervention, not much else they can do.
leona has so much cc, i consider her a ban worthy champion
Well yas wasnt banned but this was low gold elo. and he instead banned azir rather then leona. But he then conviced the entire other team that i was harrassing them even though the only thing i typed to him was please gank a lane. will you help top please, Im just upset because he convinced the other team that i was harrasing him.
banning leona has always been a bad call
Well Leona is easily one of Zyra's hardest counters so banning her is a very good call
