Galio? I mean the majority of you see champions like Yasuo,Akali,Sylas and Qiyana as issue champions and I recall how Galio helped deal with them or can deal with really well because he could peel the back line and heavily disencourages reckless engages. So yeah maybe we give Galio back his ultimate damage reduction and maybe get rid of that stupid a$$ self-grounding on his W. LS when he went off recently talked about how Akali wasn't as much of an issue before because Galio had the tools to beat her before he was messed up. Maybe I just wanna Smash things in the face, especially Sylas, and maybe I want Poppy to help me do it. Maybe I get skins and an event around that so I can put my wallet in danger but I won't have to worry about because Galio would be there.

Not until you even bother to link his fucking stats. As far as this post is concerned so far he could have a 100% winrate and be absolutely 100% pick or ban. He can also have a 0% playrate and never be picked or banned. You haven't listed stats, so it's whichever disproves your post until you post the fucking stats.

I mean it's nice that they at least recognize he needs to be stronger but it's not the thing that Galio players were disliking or what is really holding him back. The main issue people have with him is they took away one of his core aspects since even before his rework which was the ability to flash taunt the enemy team. This coupled with the fact that his ult lost it's damage reduction stat awhile back and his Q got hit with heavy mana cost nerfs made him lose his core identity of a champion who peels for your team while cc the enemy. So yeah the main issue is Riot removed not only a core mechanic of Galio and in doing so reduced his team fight strength but also removed an aspect that has been to core to him even before the rework which I know since I've played a lot of both.
