I'm a support main. I really don't play Annie Support. I think I could play Annie mid sometimes. But I don't like Annie Support and I'm never gonna do Annie Support and I'm tired of Annie Support cluttering up my support champ select.
What about those champs we buy, try, and decide "This isn't me"? Can we hide champs from champ select? it would be a cool feature.

But it doesn't. The Favorites thing mixes what_ I want to play_, with what_ it thinks I should play_.
Here's my current select. I don't want Annie, Lux, Morgana, Sona or Veigar on this list. Annie, Lux and Veigar are AP Cheese, I have my own ideas about what makes a good AP Cheese. I don't have practice with Sona and my plate is full, I can learn her later.
And I just don't like Morgana. I don't want to do it. I bought her and didn't like.
What happens when support Pantheon flavors and starts crowding in? If I buy Miss Fortune as an ADC, am I going to have to pick around it on my support list?
About the only thing I can do is sort by Mastery and that's not perfect either, if I'm learning Zyra then it scoots all over the list as I get more and more practice at it.
It won't remember the settings so I have to filter for support, then switch to a sort method like Mastery or Favorited, and it's just Half-Convenient.

I think a better way of doing it would be if you select favorites of a role you have just them show. That way with each role you favorite only the champs you'll actually play
I haven't played with the champ select yet so I assumed it just worked like that cause it would make the most sense
