1 Complaint/ Question about Fiora
Riposte as an ability and how it fits Fiora confuses me.
"Fiora stabs her sword forward, dealing magic damage" ... what, why is this magic damage? it is literally being stabbed by a sword ...
My biggest grippe with this ability is that it is a multi- opponent ability. Fiora is a Duelist, a 1v1 er, so why does she have an ability that is so strong against multiple opponents at one time? Why is one of the most common tactics a fencer uses on such a long cooldown?
This is how I would remake her Reposte if given the chance.
Active
-
Fiora attempts to parry an ability or attack in the next .5 seconds and follows up with a stab of her sword.
-
If Fiora successfully parries an ability or attack she attacks in the direction of the source now instead of waiting the rest of the time and this ability is put on a 3 second cd
-
If Fiora's stab hits an enemy
-
has their movespeed reduced by 35% for 1 second
-
has their attack speed reduced by 35% for 1 second
-
the remain cd of this ability is halved
-
If Fiora does not parry an ability or attack during this time or hit an enemy with her stab, she is left open and takes extra damage for the next .5 seconds
-
Costs 60 mana to use, half is returned if an ability or attack is parried, or if her stab hits an enemy
-
Cooldown 10/9/8/7/6
Passive
- Deal 10% additional damage to impaired targets. (works with crits and abilities, not on-hit's from items)
This change would increase her ability to duel a single opponent while also reducing her effectiveness when facing multiple opponents. Which at least in my mind is how a duelist should be.
