The only use mfs ult has now is for an execute when they are running away with little hp. I find myself when i play mf much more better off to not use my ult. It doesn't provide enough damage anymore (especially in this meta) and im at risk to anything coming at me when i am immobile. It needs a damage buff or some sort.

It is a thing where they take their worst amateur designer to remake her. They obliterated her ult damage potential when they made it physical. Then, they took the pyhsical scaling off it and moved it to W. W now applies on ult for what appears to be 0 damage.
Ap scaling is still amazing but they remove ap scaling on W which was AMAZING. They put an ap ratio on Q for mage fortune but that ap ratio was already there with the old W because each shot got 20% your ap ratio AND STACKED.
Now in order to make your ult stronger, you need physical pen. But in order to increase the ult scaling, you need ap. In order to increase your W scaling, you need AD, but in order for your W to do any damage at all, you need magic pen...
She literally has no optimal build path. I just build her 5 ap items and last whisper and go all in with my ult.
In my opinion, MF needs a gameplay update. Her kit is fun, but I think it is a bit outdated.

Just why
Her Ult does negative damage, and her kit is unintuitive. Why pick MF when you can pick graves, who's more mobile, does more damage, is a better duelist, and who's ult does much more damage than MF in a single burst?
Or to become lucian style. On the move ulti. It's still on par with lucian because he can dush during cast.
It does 400 + 200% total AD at rank 1 over 2 seconds, and thats with no impure stacks to start with

She seems better as AP than AD right now, which is silly.
The changes they made when they pseudo-reworked her (and gutted her identity (her ultimate) and tried to spread the power more evenly among her kit components) need to be reverted.
There is nothing wrong with MF's ult and it does a ton of damage built corrently
Honestly, the only time I really play MF is as a cheesy mage. Her AP ratios are decent, and she's a somewhat okay lane bully. She can also take towers faster than the average midlaner due to her W and if you build Nashor's tooth.

The Miss Fortune Ultimate can be used at low levels to do a ton of damage, I find that usually until your second item that your ultimate can do more damage than you can with your auto attacks (since your second item is usually Phantom Dancer or Statik Shiv if you prefer the passive though I personally always get Phantom Dancer). Your ultimate is also extremely strong for clearing oversized minion waves.
Mid - late game, Miss Fortune's ultimate is usually used for an execute or like Ezreal and Jinx where they can ult into teamfights to take some damage out of the enemy beforehand.
Miss Fortune's ultimate just takes some time to master, her ultimate late game on top of Black Cleaver is crazy strong and it can really win games.
It's good for the wombo combos, and clearing minion waves... Yup! That's about it! Unless you build Mage Fortune, then it hurts more but does physical damage (for some reason)...
She has a crappy base damage on her ult without a scaling, and the fact it applies her W as magic damage makes it worse, I think her W should deal physical damage when applied by her ult, that way it would deal a lot of damage.

Actually, today something interesting happened. I don't know what she did but this MF was using her ult to initiate a team fight and she was doing heaps of damage in Aram but then again, her R works wonders there...
You might be right about that. I do like playing her but her ult sometimes i forget that if i move then it stops like maybe make a new ult for her or extend range or make it scale ad damage. Sucks that she is falling off to graves and sivir and even ash in some instances. Even Kog gets played more than her.

But yeah, that is some funky scaling. I like it, but . . . it really just doesn't work anymore. A gameplay update sometime soon would be nice.
I use it to execute an enemy, when I need AOE damage etc. It's not that great, but it does have its uses.

Well her ult is okay'ish... I guess... However I don't feel MF gets enough in return for being an immobile ADC... her passive is good though rather difficult to keep up at times And well her ult is one of the reasons why you would bother picking MF over any other ADC (Well if you wanted AoE I guess you could also go for Graves or hurricane on Kalista or something) And well her laning is also pretty good
I miss the season 3 cleaver fever melt your whole team MF ults.
Eh. I like to use it to finish off a fight from a safe range. I'll get into a fight with my support, we'll trade down to low health each and back off. From safety, I use my ult and finish them off, unless they dash out(which in my ELO doesn't happen often.)
She's utter garbage in competitive play though.
mf's ult W and Q have been GUTTED compared to season 1 MF. She's a fucking joke. Just play MF 2.0.. Also known as GRAVES. Basically the message I got when graves was released was "Oh look it's MF before she got nerfed and if her E was a gap closer!" Not even overexaggerating or anything thats my exact thought when graves was released. Has been the same thought since then.
Since I play MF as a bullshit ad caster in the bot lane, I catch a lot of people by surprise. I'm able to stack 3 B.F. sword upgrades and boots nearing endgame, and that's enough to mess people up. It's expensive, but with all the free damage that your q provides with a well placed bounce, the farm is easy enough to get while harassing at the same time.
That said, yeah I feel the ult is kinda pointless sometimes but nowadays I usually just use it to get stacks of impure shots on people before I actually start shooting them normally. I find that people don't like it when you start off your duel with them dealing an additional 200 magic damage a shot on top of 400 physical damage that can crit with your IE. If I am able to get to that setup, I can usually 2-shot assassins and adcs who haven't built a GA yet with just a q and an auto.
I think her kit is in a good place because its hard to itemize to make her completely irrelevant and if you don't itemize against her at all, your ult adds stacks really fast when a fight starts. After that it's just a matter of picking out the target you want to kill and maintaining their stacks.

I like to build her with Black Cleaver and open up with this if I get the chance. Spraying down the whole team getting them to half health with just your ult is worth losing a couple of seconds of autos. As long as I hit at least 3 people and can do it from a safe position, that is.
I don't understand the point of this thread, Its always been an execute, unless you build ap mf there is no reason to use it in a team fight since the rest of your kit gives you better damage by not using it.
Its the same argument as the caitlyns who ult from pointblank range. You dont benefit from it, since about 3 autos usually compensate for the damage from your ult.
Or just make her invincible while she channels.
MF is my second favorite adc to play besides Jinx, and she needs a full rework... her kit doesnt feel like a pirate hunter or anything... she is a thematic mess
