The 5 most broken things in league of legends.

I am going to make a list with the reasons of the most broken things in league of legends.

1.Critical strikes Makes the game inconsistent. Critical strikes are completely random, not skill based, matchups become more of praying you get crits or the enemy doesnt. you have no control of whether you will get the crit just luck. completely unskillful feature in a competitive game. I am pretty sure Riot is well aware about it, but without enough people complaining about it and the people being used too it I dont see them having any interest in changing it.

  1. Veigar ultimate This one should be obvious. Not to imply veigar is a op champ but his ult is one of the stupidest things ive seen in any video game. It rewards you and does more damage based on how much ap the enemy has. Completely unfair

  2. Irelia's E Ruins matchups completely. You have a 2 second stun that rewards you for being lower health then the enemy. Sometimes its better not too shoot her in hopes of not becoming 2 second stunned. Makes no sense how this is fair

  3. Poppy's ultimate At least with this one I think people are more aware with being broken then other things. Ult the support and nobody but the support does damage to you. Sounds like fun, balanced and skillful right riot?

  4. Karthus ultimate This one is self explanatory. Press R and do damage to every enemy on the team. No fun nor skillful

I know there's a couple more i dont really remember but what do you guys think about this list? have any more you guys would like to add? EDIT: Not sure why the numbering is mest up. it wont let me change it

You've a point with Poppy's ult, though she is slated for a rework and that is going to become a non-factor.

i love how people point out poppy's ult, which is 5 secs only her target can hit, and they completely forget tryndamere where its 5 secs NO ONE can kill him.

Only poppy ultimate is considered broken atm out of that list. The others you have clear options and choices.

I think it's more of Poppy's ult that's an issue. We'll see when Poppy gets some needed changes.

If you complain about Karthus ult, you'd also complain about Soraka's ult. Both are surefire problems, as they auto-hit everyone, but you can work around that.

yes, bash more on karthus! because there aren't tons of items for any role in every lane like, item 3157 or, item 3156 or item 3102 or item 3401 or any other mr item. and there are no free turret shields, or summoner spells. And requiem only has 3 full seconds you have to prepare yourself. and you cant lifesteal yourself into safety too. Man, Karthus is so op. not that practically every other midlaner owns him in early. (/sarcasm) Requiem is balanced by Karthus' immobility. Karthus cant jump around like Ahri, Zed LeBlanc, Kassadin, Akali or Diana, and he has no hard cc like Veigar, or TF.

If you wanna complain then do it correctly,Karthus is NOT Unbalanced.

I'd say any mechanic that gives the player free stats or a large edge in a fight with no real input or skill on their part... or a mechanic or ability that limits playstyles and options when playing that champion. Not OP really, but poor design.

Things like both of Yasuo's passives. A free shield, but it just happens when he's poked and builds back up on it's own. He doesn't turn it on to mitigate damage, he basically just gets free HP against poke. His doubled crit passive is almost as bad, giving him free gold in stats for buying items that he was already likely going to buy. Not only does neither require him to go out of his way to use them, the crit passive all-but forces Yasuo into the same build nearly every game if he wants to exploit it. It NARROWS his options and limits how you can build him.

Another example of this kind of thing is new Cassiopeia's E. It's her only meaningful skill save her highly situational ult, and even that is just used to stun people so she can throw more of her E at them. All of her power is in one skill, making playing her almost entirely brainless, with no diversity or variance. Farm stacks, then spam E. Did someone dive you? Spam E. Are you going aggressive? Spam E. Her Q and W only exist to farm stacks and to permit her to continue spamming E. What's more, her E is a ranged, targeted skill, meaning your only options when fighting cass are to hope you can outdamage her E spam, or to be zoned away from her because you can't. She's going to be ungodly hard to balance now with her terrible rework, because her E will either be strong enough numbers wise to abuse most or all of her lane opponents, in which case she has very little counterplay that enemies can use against her, or it won't... and she she has nothing to fall back on since they gutted all her other skills. TERRIBLE design.

There is a certain amount of absurdity (Karthus R) that should be in a game in order to still make someone feel like they are very powerful.

I don't think Veigar or Irelia are OP by any means but.. Veigar R and Irelia E reward them for losing.. Veigar will thank you for killing him if it gives you enough to buy a needlessly, which basically means youre forced to build MR and no AP right off the start even as a mage. Not OP but poor mechanics
