Just curious. Has anyone EVER had a Master yi on their team do good?

had a good one on my team last week. barely see him though tbh

Yeah i have, back when devourer was around i remember having a yi on my team so fed that my buddy and i pretty much just caught minion waves while he killed everyone by himself. This was in low plat even lol.

I used to gank lvl 2 bot as Yi. Usually, if my bot is something like Draven, or Lucian+Braum. I tell my bot to trade lvl 1, then I come from behind and we get a double kill.

I play Yi, and the change to the jungle item just made his early game more tolerable and explosive. Some games I am required to gank a lot just because my team isn't as skilled. Therefore it would set me back on dev stacks. However, now that I no longer have to stack Dev I can gank without consequences. How great a jungler does, highly depends on how well u can set up a gank. E.g. at Bot (did you sweep tribush), at top (did you CC the laner,slow,stun,snare). Yi is strong in the hands of a samurai. He can Q iframe dodge almost 90% of all skills in game. But with all this said, you really have to play around Yi. The only three viable reasons he isn't ganking your lane should be either the reasons stated earlier or you're way too pushed or the enemy is fed 5/0 and there is no sense in giving them a possible double kill. Junglers usually gank winning lanes to make them snowball into mid game.

He is vunerable to CC, one of the many reasons not to play Yi, however I do suggest having morgana on the team because black shield on Yi is as threatening as a 20/0 fizz.
