So, Shen is getting nerfed everywhere again.
Our changes on the PBE show us that Shen will get less waveclear (as if it wasn't pretty shitty already), less reliability on his ult (lower values at higher health and a higher cooldown, which if you play Shen you would know it's extremely impractical), and overall less ult shield values even at max strength.
All for 30 less energy on his E and a slightly wider E hitbox.
This is an obvious overall nerf because you basically castrated Shen jungle at this point and now that Shen's ult can't be used as often and sucks now, top Shen is even worse than before, if that was possible. His passive shield isn't reliable, his sustain is non-existent, his overall stats still pale in comparison to other tanks, and his kit is still clunky and bugged. And now he can't even fucking farm? Gee, thanks.
So, let's recap this "balance change" to reiterate my point.
#Buffs: Slightly wider E hitbox (I'm actually very happy about this change, it feels so damn smooth now.) E now costs 150 instead of 180 energy (This needed to happen a long time ago) 15 base damage on Q (This is a fucking joke)
#Nerfs: Q now does not deal extra flat damage to monsters and minions (For some reason) Base R shield value lowered from 250/550/850 to 175/350/525 (280/560/840 at maximum strength) (Yay) R cooldown increased from 180/150/120 to 200/180/160 (As if you didn't fucking gut it enough)
Now let's compare this to the nerfs our good friend Yasuo got to "balance him" for solo queue: >Base damage reduced to from 60/70/80/90/100 to 70/90/110/130/150 20% AD ratio added
So you're telling me that in order to nerf Shen for pro play and buff him for normal play, you gutted everything about his ult and removed his only waveclear in lane. But then to nerf Yasuo overall, you gave him most of his fucking damage back on E?
Thanks, Riot. You've tried so hard to make Shen non-existent and now I think you've finally done it. Congratulations.
