So... now that tank items are getting less HP...

...I wouldn't mind seeing item 3083 buffed up to 1000 HP again. Increase the cost if you want (Make bigger component items and reduce the combination cost to compensate), but we need our HP!

######Also give us back our crit chance reduction, you red, scary mofos.

Their reasoning for removing the randuin's crit reduction is actually a really good thing IF they follow through on it.

Basically it boils down to "having crit reduction forces damage creep to make certain champs playable, but that makes them have scary huge DPS against anybody without the stat, so remove the stat, tone back damage, reduce damage creep, win for everyone.

I think instead the passive on it should ramp up regen, instead of waiting a flat 8 seconds for maximum effect. Instead of an all or nothing, every second of not taking damage would increase your regen by 1/8th of the final amount

I'd like to see some worthwhile late game tank items again!

I'm not complaining much about the crit reduction since item 3143 felt useless to me in the first place, but I could do with an HP buff on Warmog's.

I'll see where the new ideas are going first. It looks like Riot is intending for tanks to have less HP and more resistances, and while I have no idea what will result from that, I don't think they necessarily want to add more HP, at least for now.

I dunno where exactly Riot is going with this, but I'm holding ideas until we see what results from these changes.

Can someone tell me where all the info on the new nerf/buffs is coming from? I've been hearing alot about tanks getting less health and thats scaring me because I play mundo and chogath.

in order to satisfy the TEF (total effective health) principle, buying warmogs can possibly be as mandatory as guardian angel is right now. theres greatly diminishing returns by buying a completed resistance item for possibly not even 10% damage reduction. we might see cinderhulk junglers rush warmogs right after the jungle item, since health is so much more effective in the earlier game anyway. or it could just be even worse than ohmwrecker, who knows, if nerfed gragas can be meta in pro play right now, anything can be meta. cheese works all the time so meta doesnt always have to be the strongest, its just what people happen to choose to try to win the game based on countless factors

Unreal, Guys, The exaggeration is over 9000.

JarvansWAR Why do you make it sound like ''Tanks are getting nerfed with reduced HP on items'', This is why Riot Games can't take you seriously, You make it sound like a nerf and beg for more when it is a BUFF to tanks.

Firstly:

  • HP is getting reduced but resistances are getting buffed, That reduces the effectiveness of all the Max HP % Damage, Especially BOTRK which is an item once an ADC gets it, Juggernauts have to be extra careful about positioning.

You are asking for too much with:

Also give us back our crit chance reduction, you red, scary mofos.

Those

red, scary mofos

as you have stated, ARE THE ONES WORKING on the damn tank items and releasing a new tank item that is going to hurt DPS Mages.

Secondly: Here's what RIot Repertoir has said about the current PBE changes of Randuin's Omen.

  • Randuin's is possibly too weak in this version, though it still is the strongest of the HP/Armor items defensively, and has the lowest price point. As mentioned very briefly, there are some possible change to penetration coming that perhaps will help with this concern. One thing I didn't get into in the main post (but am happy to here) is that the removal of Crit Damage Reduction from Randuin's is intended to head off and/or defuse some power creep in the shop, especially since crit users are generally supposed to be successful at dealing damage to tanks. Some of these changes may result in outlier champions that have special crit interactions, and in that case, we'll need to address those case by case.

especially since crit users are generally supposed to be successful at dealing damage to tanks.

^This is intended^

TL;DR Everything Is intended and it's always been the same, Now that tank items are getting some spotlight and being the HOT topic, You guys decide to exaggerate things without even bothering to research and know completely years long old knowledge about the game while being completely ungrateful and unmannered and then expect Riot Games to have a discussion with you? They are going in the right direction.

I don't even play Tanks but I am happy to acknowledge that Riot Games are spending their time to work on them, So be a bit more realistic guys & stop exaggerating stuff while failing to realize that they are buffing tanks.

Now the issue is Juggernauts, Yes, I agree about that, I've talked about many players about this, Either buff item 3083 or item 3053 (Make it Melee and buff it accordingly to Marksmen don't abuse this item like Armor Penetration & Lethality items and gain ''Freelo'' ) HP & adjust the juggernauts a bit knowing they are getting their main nightmare item getting nerfed indirectly with those resistances buff and HP nerfs.

There are still many more lines we haven't gotten to know their existence and read on the current paper of the tank items & update, So please, People, Be nice, Make League community a better place and do not jump on those high horses of yours, It just will make things worse for each and every single individual.
